1 اِفسس میں موجود جماعت کے فرشتے کو یہ لکھ دینا: یہ اُس کا فرمان ہے جو اپنے دہنے ہاتھ میں سات ستارے تھامے رکھتا اور سونے کے سات شمع دانوں کے درمیان چلتا پھرتا ہے۔2 مَیں تیرے کاموں کو جانتا ہوں، تیری سخت محنت اور تیری ثابت قدمی کو۔ مَیں جانتا ہوں کہ تُو بُرے لوگوں کو برداشت نہیں کر سکتا، کہ تُو نے اُن کی پڑتال کی ہے جو رسول ہونے کا دعویٰ کرتے ہیں، حالانکہ وہ رسول نہیں ہیں۔ تجھے تو پتا چل گیا ہے کہ وہ جھوٹے تھے۔3 تُو میرے نام کی خاطر ثابت قدم رہا اور برداشت کرتے کرتے تھکا نہیں۔4 لیکن مجھے تجھ سے یہ شکایت ہے، تُو مجھے اُس طرح پیار نہیں کرتا جس طرح پہلے کرتا تھا۔5 اب خیال کر کہ تُو کہاں سے گر گیا ہے۔ توبہ کر کے وہ کچھ کر جو تُو پہلے کرتا تھا، ورنہ مَیں آ کر تیرے شمع دان کو اُس کی جگہ سے ہٹا دوں گا۔6 لیکن یہ بات تیرے حق میں ہے، تُو میری طرح نیکلیوں کے کاموں سے نفرت کرتا ہے۔7 جو سن سکتا ہے وہ سن لے کہ روح القدس جماعتوں کو کیا کچھ بتا رہا ہے۔ جو غالب آئے گا اُسے مَیں زندگی کے درخت کا پھل کھانے کو دوں گا، اُس درخت کا پھل جو اللہ کے فردوس میں ہے۔8 سمرنہ میں موجود جماعت کے فرشتے کو یہ لکھ دینا: یہ اُس کا فرمان ہے جو اوّل اور آخر ہے، جو مر گیا تھا اور دوبارہ زندہ ہوا۔9 مَیں تیری مصیبت اور غربت کو جانتا ہوں۔ لیکن حقیقت میں تُو دولت مند ہے۔ مَیں اُن لوگوں کے بہتان سے واقف ہوں جو کہتے ہیں کہ وہ یہودی ہیں حالانکہ ہیں نہیں۔ اصل میں وہ ابلیس کی جماعت ہیں۔10 جو کچھ تجھے جھیلنا پڑے گا اُس سے مت ڈرنا۔ دیکھ، ابلیس تجھے آزمانے کے لئے تم میں سے بعض کو جیل میں ڈال دے گا، اور دس دن تک تجھے ایذا پہنچائی جائے گی۔ موت تک وفادار رہ تو مَیں تجھے زندگی کا تاج دوں گا۔11 جو سن سکتا ہے وہ سن لے کہ روح القدس جماعتوں کو کیا کچھ بتا رہا ہے۔ جو غالب آئے گا اُسے دوسری موت سے نقصان نہیں پہنچے گا۔12 پرگمن میں موجود جماعت کے فرشتے کو یہ لکھ دینا: یہ اُس کا فرمان ہے جس کے پاس دو دھاری تیز تلوار ہے۔13 مَیں جانتا ہوں کہ تُو کہاں رہتا ہے، وہاں جہاں ابلیس کا تخت ہے۔ تاہم تُو میرے نام کا وفادار رہا ہے۔ تُو نے اُن دنوں میں بھی مجھ پر ایمان رکھنے کا انکار نہ کیا جب میرا وفادار گواہ انتپاس تمہارے پاس شہید ہوا، وہاں جہاں ابلیس بستا ہے۔14 لیکن مجھے تجھ سے کئی باتوں کی شکایت ہے۔ تیرے پاس ایسے لوگ ہیں جو بلعام کی تعلیم کی پیروی کرتے ہیں۔ کیونکہ بلعام نے بلق کو سکھایا کہ وہ کس طرح اسرائیلیوں کو گناہ کرنے پر اُکسا سکتا ہے یعنی بُتوں کو پیش کی گئی قربانیاں کھانے اور زنا کرنے سے۔15 اِسی طرح تیرے پاس بھی ایسے لوگ ہیں، جو نیکلیوں کی تعلیم کی پیروی کرتے ہیں۔16 اب توبہ کر! ورنہ مَیں جلد ہی تیرے پاس آ کر اپنے منہ کی تلوار سے اُن کے ساتھ لڑوں گا۔17 جو سن سکتا ہے وہ سن لے کہ روح القدس جماعتوں کو کیا کچھ بتا رہا ہے۔ جو غالب آئے گا اُسے مَیں پوشیدہ مَن میں سے دوں گا۔ مَیں اُسے ایک سفید پتھر بھی دوں گا جس پر ایک نیا نام لکھا ہو گا، ایسا نام جو صرف ملنے والے کو معلوم ہو گا۔18 تھواتیرہ میں موجود جماعت کے فرشتے کو یہ لکھ دینا: یہ اللہ کے فرزند کا فرمان ہے جس کی آنکھیں آگ کے شعلوں اور پاؤں دمکتے پیتل کی مانند ہیں۔19 مَیں تیرے کاموں کو جانتا ہوں یعنی تیری محبت اور ایمان، تیری خدمت اور ثابت قدمی، اور یہ کہ اِس وقت تُو پہلے کی نسبت کہیں زیادہ کر رہا ہے۔20 لیکن مجھے تجھ سے یہ شکایت ہے، تُو اُس عورت ایزبل کو جو اپنے آپ کو نبیہ کہتی ہے کام کرنے دیتا ہے، حالانکہ یہ اپنی تعلیم سے میرے خادموں کو صحیح راہ سے دُور کر کے اُنہیں زنا کرنے اور بُتوں کو پیش کی گئی قربانیاں کھانے پر اُکساتی ہے۔21 مَیں نے اُسے کافی دیر سے توبہ کرنے کا موقع دیا ہے، لیکن وہ اِس کے لئے تیار نہیں ہے۔22 چنانچہ مَیں اُسے یوں ماروں گا کہ وہ بستر پر پڑی رہے گی۔ اور اگر وہ جو اُس کے ساتھ زنا کر رہے ہیں اپنی غلط حرکتوں سے توبہ نہ کریں تو مَیں اُنہیں شدید مصیبت میں پھنساؤں گا۔23 ہاں، مَیں اُس کے فرزندوں کو مار ڈالوں گا۔ پھر تمام جماعتیں جان لیں گی کہ مَیں ہی ذہنوں اور دلوں کو پرکھتا ہوں، اور مَیں ہی تم میں سے ہر ایک کو اُس کے کاموں کا بدلہ دوں گا۔24 لیکن تھواتیرہ کی جماعت کے ایسے لوگ بھی ہیں جو اِس تعلیم کی پیروی نہیں کرتے، اور جنہوں نے وہ کچھ نہیں جانا جسے اِن لوگوں نے ”ابلیس کے گہرے بھید“ کا نام دیا ہے۔ تمہیں مَیں بتاتا ہوں کہ مَیں تم پر کوئی اَور بوجھ نہیں ڈالوں گا۔25 لیکن اِتنا ضرور کرو کہ جو کچھ تمہارے پاس ہے اُسے میرے آنے تک مضبوطی سے تھامے رکھنا۔26 جو غالب آئے گا اور آخر تک میرے کاموں پر قائم رہے گا اُسے مَیں قوموں پر اختیار دوں گا۔27 ہاں، وہ لوہے کے شاہی عصا سے اُن پر حکومت کرے گا، اُنہیں مٹی کے برتنوں کی طرح پھوڑ ڈالے گا۔28 یعنی اُسے وہی اختیار ملے گا جو مجھے بھی اپنے باپ سے ملا ہے۔ ایسے شخص کو مَیں صبح کا ستارہ بھی دوں گا۔29 جو سن سکتا ہے وہ سن لے کہ روح القدس جماعتوں کو کیا کچھ بتا رہا ہے۔
Revelation 2
1 To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, he that walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks:2 I know thy works, and thy toil and patience, and that thou canst not bear evil men, and didst try them that call themselves apostles, and they are not, and didst find them false;3 and thou hast patience and didst bear for my name’s sake, and hast not grown weary.4 But I have this against thee, that thou didst leave thy first love.5 Remember therefore whence thou art fallen, and repent and do the first works; or else I come to thee, and will move thy candlestick out of its place, except thou repent.6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the works of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches. To him that overcometh, to him will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of God.8 And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write: These things saith the first and the last, who was dead, and lived again:9 I know thy tribulation, and thy poverty (but thou art rich), and the blasphemy of them that say they are Jews, and they art not, but are a synagogue of Satan.10 Fear not the things which thou art about to suffer: behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days. Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee the crown of life.11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches. He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.12 and to the angel of the church in Pergamum write: These things saith he that hath the sharp two-edged sword:13 I know where thou dwellest, even where Satan’s throne is; and thou holdest fast my name, and didst not deny my faith, even in the days of Antipas my witness, my faithful one, who was killed among you, where Satan dwelleth.14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there some that hold the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit fornication.15 So hast thou also some that hold the teaching of the Nicolaitans in like manner.16 Repent therefore; or else I come to thee quickly, and I will make war against them with the sword of my mouth.17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches. To him that overcometh, to him will I give of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and upon the stone a new name written, which no one knoweth but he that receiveth it.18 And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write: These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like a flame of fire, and his feet are like unto burnished brass:19 I know thy works, and thy love and faith and ministry and patience, and that thy last works are more than the first.20 But I have this against thee, that thou sufferest the woman Jezebel, who calleth herself a prophetess; and she teacheth and seduceth my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed to idols.21 And I gave her time that she should repent; and she willeth not to repent of her fornication.22 Behold, I cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of her works.23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he that searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto each one of you according to your works.24 But to you I say, to the rest that are in Thyatira, as many as have not this teaching, who know not the deep things of Satan, as they are wont to say; I cast upon you none other burden.25 Nevertheless that which ye have, hold fast till I come.26 And he that overcometh, and he that keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give authority over the nations:27 and he shall rule them with a rod of iron, as the vessels of the potter are broken to shivers; as I also have received of my Father:28 and I will give him the morning star.29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches.
