Apocalipsis 20

Los mil años

1 Vi además a un ángel que bajaba del cielo con la llave del *abismo y una gran cadena en la mano. 2 Sujetó al dragón, a aquella serpiente antigua que es el diablo y Satanás, y lo encadenó por mil años. 3 Lo arrojó al abismo, lo encerró y tapó la salida para que no engañara más a las *naciones, hasta que se cumplieran los mil años. Después habrá de ser soltado por algún tiempo.
4 Entonces vi tronos donde se sentaron los que recibieron autoridad para juzgar. Vi también las almas de los que habían sido decapitados por causa del testimonio de Jesús y por la palabra de Dios. No habían adorado a la bestia ni a su imagen, ni se habían dejado poner su marca en la frente ni en la mano. Volvieron a vivir y reinaron con *Cristo mil años. 5 Ésta es la primera resurrección; los demás muertos no volvieron a vivir hasta que se cumplieron los mil años. 6 *Dichosos y santos los que tienen parte en la primera resurrección. La segunda muerte no tiene poder sobre ellos, sino que serán sacerdotes de Dios y de Cristo, y reinarán con él mil años.

Juicio final de Satanás

7 Cuando se cumplan los mil años, Satanás será liberado de su prisión, 8 y saldrá para engañar a las *naciones que están en los cuatro ángulos de la tierra —a Gog y a Magog—, a fin de reunirlas para la batalla. Su número será como el de las arenas del mar. 9 Marcharán a lo largo y a lo ancho de la tierra, y rodearán el campamento del *pueblo de Dios, la ciudad que él ama. Pero caerá fuego del cielo y los consumirá por completo. 10 El diablo, que los había engañado, será arrojado al lago de fuego y azufre, donde también habrán sido arrojados la bestia y el falso profeta. Allí serán atormentados día y noche por los siglos de los siglos.

Juicio de los muertos

11 Luego vi un gran trono blanco y a alguien que estaba sentado en él. De su presencia huyeron la tierra y el cielo, sin dejar rastro alguno. 12 Vi también a los muertos, grandes y pequeños, de pie delante del trono. Se abrieron unos libros, y luego otro, que es el libro de la vida. Los muertos fueron juzgados según lo que habían hecho, conforme a lo que estaba escrito en los libros. 13 El mar devolvió sus muertos; la muerte y el infiernos devolvieron los suyos; y cada uno fue juzgado según lo que había hecho. 14 La muerte y el infierno fueron arrojados al lago de fuego. Este lago de fuego es la muerte segunda. 15 Aquel cuyo nombre no estaba escrito en el libro de la vida era arrojado al lago de fuego.

REVELATION 20

The Thousand Years

1 I saw an angel come down from heaven, carrying the key to the deep pit and a big chain. 2 t He chained the dragon for 1,000 years. It is that old snake, who is also known as the devil and Satan.

3 Then the angel threw the dragon into the pit. He locked and sealed it, so 1,000 years would go by before the dragon could fool the nations again. But after that, it would have to be set free for a little while.

4  t I saw thrones, and sitting on those thrones were the ones who had been given the right to judge. I also saw the souls of the people who had their heads cut off because they had told about Jesus and preached God's message. They were the same ones who had not worshiped the beast or the idol, and they had refused to let its mark be put on their foreheads or hands. They will come to life and rule with Christ for 1,000 years.

5-6 These people are the first to be raised to life, and they are especially blessed and holy. The second deatht has no power over them. They will be priests for God and Christ and will rule with them for 1,000 years.
No other dead people were raised to life until 1,000 years later.

Satan Is Defeated

10 Then the devil who fooled them will be thrown into the lake of fire and burning sulfur. He will be there with the beast and the false prophet, and they will be in pain day and night forever and ever.

The Judgment //at the Great White Throne

12 t I also saw all the dead people standing in front of that throne. Every one of them was there, no matter who they had once been. Several books were opened, and then the book of lifet was opened. The dead were judged by what those books said they had done.
13 The sea gave up the dead people who were in it, and death and its kingdom also gave up their dead. Then everyone was judged by what they had done. 14 Afterwards, death and its kingdom were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death.t 15 Anyone whose name wasn't written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.
