Mọi dân trên thế giới sẽ bị xét xử

1 Tôi thấy một thiên sứ từ thiên đàng xuống. Người cầm chìa khóa của hố không đáy và dây xiềng lớn trong tay.2 Người bắt con rồng, tức con rắn xưa, là ma quỉ và Sa-tăng, xiềng nó lại trong một ngàn năm.3 Rồi quăng nó xuống hố không đáy, đóng và khóa hố lại, nhốt nó trong đó. Như thế để nó không còn đi phỉnh gạt dân cư trên đất cho đến hết một ngàn năm. Sau một ngàn năm, nó sẽ được thả ra trong ít lâu.4 Rồi tôi thấy có các ngôi và những người ngồi trên ngôi được quyền xét xử. Tôi thấy linh hồn của những người đã bị giết vì xưng nhận Chúa Giê-xu và truyền bá lời Thượng Đế. Họ chưa bái lạy con vật hay hình tượng nó và chưa nhận dấu của nó trên trán hay trên tay. Họ được sống lại để cai trị với Chúa Cứu Thế trong một ngàn năm.5 Còn những người khác sẽ không sống lại cho đến khi mãn một ngàn năm. Đó là sự sống lại thứ nhất.6 Phúc cho người nào được dự phần trong sự sống lại thứ nhất vì sự chết thứ hai không có quyền gì trên họ. Họ sẽ làm thầy tế lễ cho Thượng Đế, cho Chúa Cứu Thế và sẽ cai trị với Ngài trong một ngàn năm.7 Cuối một ngàn năm thì Sa-tăng sẽ được thả ra khỏi ngục.8 Nó sẽ đi phỉnh dỗ các dân trên đất—dân Góc và dân Ma-góc—để tập họp họ lại chuẩn bị chiến tranh. Chúng nó đông như cát bờ biển.9 Đạo quân của Sa-tăng tràn qua mặt đất và bao vây doanh trại của dân Thượng Đế và thành yêu dấu của Ngài. Nhưng lửa từ trời giáng xuống thiêu đốt chúng nó.10 Còn Sa-tăng là kẻ phỉnh dỗ chúng bị ném vào hồ lửa diêm sinh nơi có con vật và tiên tri giả đã bị ném. Chúng sẽ bị trừng phạt khổ sở ngày đêm cho đến đời đời.11 Rồi tôi thấy một ngai trắng và lớn cùng Đấng ngự trên ngai. Trước mặt Ngài trời đất trốn mất hết.12 Tôi thấy những người chết, cả lớn lẫn nhỏ đều đứng trước ngai. Các sách mở ra, rồi một sách khác là sách sự sống cũng mở ra nữa. Những người chết bị xét xử theo những điều họ đã làm đã được ghi trong các sách.13 Biển đem trả lại những kẻ chết nó chứa, còn Sự Chết và Ha-đet cũng mang trả những kẻ chết chúng chứa. Mỗi người đều bị xét xử theo điều mình làm.14 Rồi Sự Chết và Ha-đe bị ném vào hồ lửa. Hồ lửa là sự chết thứ hai.15 Người nào không có tên trong sổ sự sống đều bị ném xuống hồ lửa.

Revelation 20

Satan Bound

1 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand.2 And he laid hold of the dragon, the serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years;3 and he threw him into the abyss, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he would not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were completed; after these things he must be released for a short time.

4 Then I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand; and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.5 The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were completed. This is the first resurrection.6 Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years.

Satan Freed, Doomed

7 When the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from his prison,8 and will come out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together for the war; the number of them is like the sand of the seashore.9 And they came up on the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, and fire came down from heaven and devoured them.10 And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Judgment at the Throne of God

11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them.12 And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds.13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds.14 Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.15 And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.
