مکاشفه 21

1 و دیدم آسمانی جدید و زمینی جدید، چونکه آسمان اول و زمین اول درگذشت و دریا دیگر نمی باشد.2 و شهر مقدس اورشلیم جدید را دیدم که از جانب خدا ازآسمان نازل میشود، حاضر شده چون عروسی که برای شوهر خود آراسته است.3 و آوازی بلنداز آسمان شنیدم که میگفت: «اینک خیمه خدا باآدمیان است و با ایشان ساکن خواهد بود و ایشان قوم های او خواهند بود و خود خدا با ایشان خدای ایشان خواهد بود.4 و خدا هر اشکی ازچشمان ایشان پاک خواهد کرد. و بعد از آن موت نخواهد بود و ماتم و ناله و درد دیگر رو نخواهدنمود زیرا که چیزهای اول درگذشت.»5 و آن تختنشین گفت: «الحال همهچیز را نومی سازم.» و گفت: «بنویس، زیرا که این کلام امین و راست است.»6 باز مرا گفت: «تمام شد! من الف و یا و ابتدا وانتها هستم. من به هرکه تشنه باشد، از چشمه آب حیات، مفت خواهم داد.7 و هرکه غالب آید، وارث همهچیز خواهد شد، و او را خدا خواهم بود و او مرا پسر خواهد بود.8 لکن ترسندگان و بی ایمانان و خبیثان و قاتلان و زانیان و جادوگران و بتپرستان و جمیع دروغگویان، نصیب ایشان در دریاچه افروخته شده به آتش و کبریت خواهدبود. این است موت ثانی.»9 و یکی از آن هفت فرشته که هفت پیاله پر ازهفت بلای آخرین را دارند، آمد و مرا مخاطب ساخته، گفت: «بیا تا عروس منکوحه بره را به تونشان دهم.»10 آنگاه مرا در روح، به کوهی بزرگ بلند برد و شهر مقدس اورشلیم را به من نمود که از آسمان از جانب خدا نازل میشود،11 و جلال خدا را دارد و نورش مانند جواهر گرانبها، چون یشم بلورین.12 و دیواری بزرگ و بلند دارد ودوازده دروازه دارد و بر سر دروازهها دوازده فرشته و اسمها بر ایشان مرقوم است که نامهای دوازده سبط بنیاسرائیل باشد.13 از مشرق سه دروازه و از شمال سه دروازه و از جنوب سه دروازه و از مغرب سه دروازه.14 و دیوار شهردوازده اساس دارد و بر آنها دوازده اسم دوازده رسول بره است.15 و آن کس که با من تکلم میکرد، نی طلاداشت تا شهر و دروازه هایش و دیوارش رابپیماید.16 و شهر مربع است که طول و عرضش مساوی است و شهر را به آن نی پیموده، دوازده هزار تیر پرتاب یافت و طول و عرض وبلندیاش برابر است.17 و دیوارش را صد و چهل و چهارذراع پیمود، موافق ذراع انسان، یعنی فرشته.18 وبنای دیوار آن از یشم بود و شهر از زر خالص چون شیشه مصفی بود.19 و بنیاد دیوار شهر به هر نوع جواهر گرانبها مزین بود که بنیاد اول، یشم و دوم، یاقوت کبود و سوم، عقیق سفید و چهارم، زمرد20 و پنجم، جزع عقیقی و ششم، عقیق وهفتم، زبرجد و هشتم، زمرد سلقی و نهم، طوپاز ودهم، عقیق اخضر و یازدهم، آسمانجونی ودوازدهم، یاقوت بود.21 و دوازده دروازه، دوازده مروارید بود، هر دروازه از یک مروارید وشارع عام شهر، از زر خالص چون شیشه شفاف.22 و در آن هیچ قدس ندیدم زیرا خداوندخدای قادر مطلق و بره قدس آن است.23 و شهراحتیاج ندارد که آفتاب یا ماه آن را روشنایی دهدزیرا که جلال خدا آن را منور میسازد و چراغش بره است.24 و امتها در نورش سالک خواهندبود و پادشاهان جهان، جلال و اکرام خود را به آن خواهند درآورد.25 و دروازه هایش در روز بسته نخواهد بود زیرا که شب در آنجا نخواهد بود.26 و جلال و عزت امتها را به آن داخل خواهندساخت.27 و چیزی ناپاک یا کسیکه مرتکب عمل زشت یا دروغ شود، هرگز داخل آن نخواهدشد، مگر آنانی که در دفتر حیات بره مکتوبند.

REVELATION 21

The New Heaven and //the New Earth

1  t I saw a new heaven and a new earth. The first heaven and the first earth had disappeared, and so had the sea.

2 t Then I saw New Jerusalem, the holy city, coming down from God in heaven. It was like a bride dressed in her wedding gown and ready to meet her husband.

3  t I heard a loud voice shout from the throne:
God's home is now with his people. He will live with them, and they will be his own. Yes, God will make his home among his people.

4 t He will wipe all tears from their eyes, and there will be no more death, suffering, crying, or pain. These things of the past are gone forever.

5 Then the one sitting on the throne said:
I am making everything new. Write down what I have said. My words are true and can be trusted. 6 t Everything is finished! I am Alpha and Omega, t the beginning and the end. I will freely give water from the life-giving fountain to everyone who is thirsty.

7 t All who win the victory will be given these blessings. I will be their God, and they will be my people.

8 But I will tell you what will happen to cowards and to everyone who is unfaithful or dirty-minded or who murders or is sexually immoral or uses witchcraft or worships idols or tells lies. They will be thrown into that lake of fire and burning sulfur. This is the second death.t

The New Jerusalem

10 t Then with the help of the Spirit, he took me to the top of a very high mountain. There he showed me the holy city of Jerusalem coming down from God in heaven.
11 The glory of God made the city bright. It was dazzling and crystal clear like a precious jasper stone. 12 t The city had a high and thick wall with twelve gates, and each one of them was guarded by an angel. On each of the gates was written the name of one of the twelve tribes of Israel. 13 Three of these gates were on the east, three were on the north, three more were on the south, and the other three were on the west.

14 The city was built on twelve foundation stones. On each of the stones was written the name of one of the Lamb's twelve apostles.
15  t The angel who spoke to me had a gold measuring stick to measure the city and its gates and its walls. 16 The city was shaped like a cube, because it was just as high as it was wide. When the angel measured the city, it was about 2,400 kilometers high and 2,400 kilometers wide.

17 Then the angel measured the wall, and by our measurements it was about 60 meters high.
18  t t The wall was built of jasper, and the city was made of pure gold, clear as crystal. 19 Each of the twelve foundations was a precious stone. The first was jasper, t the second was sapphire, the third was agate, the fourth was emerald, 20 the fifth was onyx, the sixth was carnelian, the seventh was chrysolite, the eighth was beryl, the ninth was topaz, the tenth was chrysoprase, the eleventh was jacinth, and the twelfth was amethyst.

21 Each of the twelve gates was a solid pearl. The streets of the city were made of pure gold, clear as crystal.
22 I did not see a temple there. The Lord God All-Powerful and the Lamb were its temple.

23 t And the city did not need the sun or the moon. The glory of God was shining on it, and the Lamb was its light.
24  t Nations will walk by the light of that city, and kings will bring their riches there. 25 t Its gates are always open during the day, and night never comes. 26 The glorious treasures of nations will be brought into the city. 27 t But nothing unworthy will be allowed to enter. No one who is dirty-minded or who tells lies will be there. Only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of lifet will be in the city.
