1  t И увидел я новое небо и новую землю, ибо прежнее небо и прежняя земля миновали, и моря уже нет. 2 t И я, Иоанн, увидел святый город Иерусалим, новый, сходящий от Бога с неба, приготовленный как невеста, украшенная для мужа своего. 3 t И услышал я громкий голос с неба, говорящий: се, скиния Бога с человеками, и Он будет обитать с ними; они будут Его народом, и Сам Бог с ними будет Богом их. 4 t И отрет Бог всякую слезу с очей их, и смерти не будет уже; ни плача, ни вопля, ни болезни уже не будет, ибо прежнее прошло. 5 t И сказал Сидящий на престоле: се, творю все новое. И говорит мне: напиши; ибо слова сии истинны и верны. 6 t И сказал мне: совершилось! Я есмь Альфа и Омега, начало и конец; жаждущему дам даром от источника воды живой. 7 t Побеждающий наследует все, и буду ему Богом, и он будет Мне сыном.

8 t Боязливых же и неверных, и скверных и убийц, и любодеев и чародеев, и идолослужителей и всех лжецов участь в озере, горящем огнем и серою. Это смерть вторая.
9  t И пришел ко мне один из семи Ангелов, у которых было семь чаш, наполненных семью последними язвами, и сказал мне: пойди, я покажу тебе жену, невесту Агнца. 10 И вознес меня в духе на великую и высокую гору, и показал мне великий город, святый Иерусалим, который нисходил с неба от Бога. 11 Он имеет славу Божию. Светило его подобно драгоценнейшему камню, как бы камню яспису кристалловидному. 12 t Он имеет большую и высокую стену, имеет двенадцать ворот и на них двенадцать Ангелов; на воротах написаны имена двенадцати колен сынов Израилевых: 13 с востока трое ворот, с севера трое ворот, с юга трое ворот, с запада трое ворот. 14 t Стена города имеет двенадцать оснований, и на них имена двенадцати Апостолов Агнца. 15 t Говоривший со мною имел золотую трость для измерения города и ворот его и стены́ его. 16 Город расположен четвероугольником, и длина его такая же, как и широта. И измерил он город тростью на двенадцать тысяч стадий; длина и широта и высота его равны. 17 И стену его измерил во сто сорок четыре локтя, мерою человеческою, какова мера и Ангела. 18 Стена его построена из ясписа, а город был чистое золото, подобен чистому стеклу. 19 t Основания стены города украшены всякими драгоценными камнями: основание первое яспис, второе сапфир, третье халкидон, четвертое смарагд, 20 пятое сардоникс, шестое сердолик, седьмое хризолит, восьмое вирилл, девятое топаз, десятое хризопрас, одиннадцатое гиацинт, двенадцатое аметист. 21 А двенадцать ворот — двенадцать жемчужин: каждые ворота были из одной жемчужины. Улица города — чистое золото, как прозрачное стекло. 22 Храма же я не видел в нем, ибо Господь Бог Вседержитель — храм его, и Агнец. 23 t И город не имеет нужды ни в солнце, ни в луне для освещения своего, ибо слава Божия осветила его, и светильник его — Агнец. 24 t Спасенные народы будут ходить во свете его, и цари земные принесут в него славу и честь свою. 25 t Ворота его не будут запираться днем; а ночи там не будет. 26 И принесут в него славу и честь народов. 27 t И не войдет в него ничто нечистое и никто преданный мерзости и лжи, а только те, которые написаны у Агнца в книге жизни.

REVELATION 21

The New Heaven and //the New Earth

1  t I saw a new heaven and a new earth. The first heaven and the first earth had disappeared, and so had the sea.

2 t Then I saw New Jerusalem, the holy city, coming down from God in heaven. It was like a bride dressed in her wedding gown and ready to meet her husband.

3  t I heard a loud voice shout from the throne:
God's home is now with his people. He will live with them, and they will be his own. Yes, God will make his home among his people.

4 t He will wipe all tears from their eyes, and there will be no more death, suffering, crying, or pain. These things of the past are gone forever.

5 Then the one sitting on the throne said:
I am making everything new. Write down what I have said. My words are true and can be trusted. 6 t Everything is finished! I am Alpha and Omega, t the beginning and the end. I will freely give water from the life-giving fountain to everyone who is thirsty.

7 t All who win the victory will be given these blessings. I will be their God, and they will be my people.

8 But I will tell you what will happen to cowards and to everyone who is unfaithful or dirty-minded or who murders or is sexually immoral or uses witchcraft or worships idols or tells lies. They will be thrown into that lake of fire and burning sulfur. This is the second death.t

The New Jerusalem

10 t Then with the help of the Spirit, he took me to the top of a very high mountain. There he showed me the holy city of Jerusalem coming down from God in heaven.
11 The glory of God made the city bright. It was dazzling and crystal clear like a precious jasper stone. 12 t The city had a high and thick wall with twelve gates, and each one of them was guarded by an angel. On each of the gates was written the name of one of the twelve tribes of Israel. 13 Three of these gates were on the east, three were on the north, three more were on the south, and the other three were on the west.

14 The city was built on twelve foundation stones. On each of the stones was written the name of one of the Lamb's twelve apostles.
15  t The angel who spoke to me had a gold measuring stick to measure the city and its gates and its walls. 16 The city was shaped like a cube, because it was just as high as it was wide. When the angel measured the city, it was about 2,400 kilometers high and 2,400 kilometers wide.

17 Then the angel measured the wall, and by our measurements it was about 60 meters high.
18  t t The wall was built of jasper, and the city was made of pure gold, clear as crystal. 19 Each of the twelve foundations was a precious stone. The first was jasper, t the second was sapphire, the third was agate, the fourth was emerald, 20 the fifth was onyx, the sixth was carnelian, the seventh was chrysolite, the eighth was beryl, the ninth was topaz, the tenth was chrysoprase, the eleventh was jacinth, and the twelfth was amethyst.

21 Each of the twelve gates was a solid pearl. The streets of the city were made of pure gold, clear as crystal.
22 I did not see a temple there. The Lord God All-Powerful and the Lamb were its temple.

23 t And the city did not need the sun or the moon. The glory of God was shining on it, and the Lamb was its light.
24  t Nations will walk by the light of that city, and kings will bring their riches there. 25 t Its gates are always open during the day, and night never comes. 26 The glorious treasures of nations will be brought into the city. 27 t But nothing unworthy will be allowed to enter. No one who is dirty-minded or who tells lies will be there. Only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of lifet will be in the city.
