1 پھر مَیں نے ایک نیا آسمان اور ایک نئی زمین دیکھی۔ کیونکہ پہلا آسمان اور پہلی زمین ختم ہو گئے تھے اور سمندر بھی نیست تھا۔2 مَیں نے نئے یروشلم کو بھی دیکھا۔ یہ مُقدّس شہر دُلھن کی صورت میں اللہ کے پاس سے آسمان پر سے اُتر رہا تھا۔ اور یہ دُلھن اپنے دُولھے کے لئے تیار اور سجی ہوئی تھی۔3 مَیں نے ایک آواز سنی جس نے تخت پر سے کہا، ”اب اللہ کی سکونت گاہ انسانوں کے درمیان ہے۔ وہ اُن کے ساتھ سکونت کرے گا اور وہ اُس کی قوم ہوں گے۔ اللہ خود اُن کا خدا ہو گا۔4 وہ اُن کی آنکھوں سے تمام آنسو پونچھ ڈالے گا۔ اب سے نہ موت ہو گی نہ ماتم، نہ رونا ہو گا نہ درد، کیونکہ جو بھی پہلے تھا وہ جاتا رہا ہے۔“5 جو تخت پر بیٹھا تھا اُس نے کہا، ”مَیں سب کچھ نئے سرے سے بنا رہا ہوں۔“ اُس نے یہ بھی کہا، ”یہ لکھ دے، کیونکہ یہ الفاظ قابلِ اعتماد اور سچے ہیں۔“6 پھر اُس نے کہا، ”کام مکمل ہو گیا ہے! مَیں الف اور ے، اوّل اور آخر ہوں۔ جو پیاسا ہے اُسے مَیں زندگی کے چشمے سے مفت پانی پلاؤں گا۔7 جو غالب آئے گا وہ یہ سب کچھ وراثت میں پائے گا۔ مَیں اُس کا خدا ہوں گا اور وہ میرا فرزند ہو گا۔8 لیکن بزدلوں، غیرایمان داروں، گھنونوں، قاتلوں، زناکاروں، جادوگروں، بُت پرستوں اور تمام جھوٹے لوگوں کا انجام جلتی ہوئی گندھک کی شعلہ خیز جھیل ہے۔ یہ دوسری موت ہے۔“9 جن سات فرشتوں کے پاس سات آخری بُلاؤں سے بھرے پیالے تھے اُن میں سے ایک نے میرے پاس آ کر کہا، ”آ، مَیں تجھے دُلھن یعنی لیلے کی بیوی دکھاؤں۔“10 وہ مجھے روح میں اُٹھا کر ایک بڑے اور اونچے پہاڑ پر لے گیا۔ وہاں سے اُس نے مجھے مُقدّس شہر یروشلم دکھایا جو اللہ کی طرف سے آسمان پر سے اُتر رہا تھا۔11 اُسے اللہ کا جلال حاصل تھا اور وہ اَن مول جوہر بلکہ بلور جیسے صاف شفاف یشب کی طرح چمک رہا تھا۔12 اُس کی بڑی اور اونچی فصیل میں بارہ دروازے تھے، اور ہر دروازے پر ایک فرشتہ کھڑا تھا۔ دروازوں پر اسرائیل کے بارہ قبیلوں کے نام لکھے تھے۔13 تین دروازے مشرق کی طرف تھے، تین شمال کی طرف، تین جنوب کی طرف اور تین مغرب کی طرف۔14 شہر کی فصیل کی بارہ بنیادیں تھیں جن پر لیلے کے بارہ رسولوں کے نام لکھے تھے۔15 جس فرشتے نے مجھ سے بات کی تھی اُس کے پاس سونے کا گز تھا تاکہ شہر، اُس کے دروازوں اور اُس کی فصیل کی پیمائش کرے۔16 شہر چوکور تھا۔ اُس کی لمبائی اُتنی ہی تھی جتنی اُس کی چوڑائی۔ فرشتے نے گز سے شہر کی پیمائش کی تو پتا چلا کہ اُس کی لمبائی، چوڑائی اور اونچائی 2,400 کلو میٹر ہے۔17 جب اُس نے فصیل کی پیمائش کی تو چوڑائی 60 میٹر تھی یعنی اُس پیمانے کے حساب سے جو وہ استعمال کر رہا تھا۔18 فصیل یشب کی تھی جبکہ شہر خالص سونے کا تھا، یعنی صاف شفاف شیثے جیسے سونے کا۔19 شہر کی بنیادیں ہر قسم کے قیمتی جواہر سے سجی ہوئی تھیں: پہلی یشب سے، دوسری سنگِ لاجورد سے، تیسری سنگِ یمانی سے، چوتھی زمرد سے،20 پانچویں سنگِ سلیمانی سے، چھٹی عقیقِ احمر سے، ساتویں زبرجد سے، آٹھویں آبِ بحر سے، نویں پکھراج سے، دسویں عقیقِ سبز سے، گیارھویں نیلے رنگ کے زرقون سے اور بارھویں یاقوتِ ارغوانی سے۔21 بارہ دروازے بارہ موتی تھے اور ہر دروازہ ایک موتی کا تھا۔ شہر کی بڑی سڑک خالص سونے کی تھی، یعنی صاف شفاف شیشے جیسے سونے کی۔22 مَیں نے شہر میں اللہ کا گھر نہ دیکھا، کیونکہ رب قادرِ مطلق خدا اور لیلا ہی اُس کا مقدِس ہیں۔23 شہر کو سورج یا چاند کی ضرورت نہیں جو اُسے روشن کرے، کیونکہ اللہ کا جلال اُسے روشن کر دیتا ہے اور لیلا اُس کا چراغ ہے۔24 قومیں اُس کی روشنی میں چلیں گی، اور زمین کے بادشاہ اپنی شان و شوکت اُس میں لائیں گے۔25 اُس کے دروازے کسی بھی دن بند نہیں ہوں گے کیونکہ وہاں کبھی بھی رات کا وقت نہیں آئے گا۔26 قوموں کی شان و شوکت اُس میں لائی جائے گی۔27 کوئی ناپاک چیز اُس میں داخل نہیں ہو گی، نہ وہ جو گھنونی حرکتیں کرتا اور جھوٹ بولتا ہے۔ صرف وہ داخل ہوں گے جن کے نام لیلے کی کتابِ حیات میں درج ہیں۔
Revelation 21
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth are passed away; and the sea is no more.2 And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband.3 And I heard a great voice out of the throne saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he shall dwell with them, and they shall be his peoples, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God:4 and he shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more; neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more: the first things are passed away.5 And he that sitteth on the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he saith, Write: for these words are faithful and true.6 And he said unto me, They are come to pass. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.7 He that overcometh shall inherit these things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.8 But for the fearful, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, their part shall be in the lake that burneth with fire and brimstone; which is the second death.9 And there came one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls, who were laden with the seven last plagues; and he spake with me, saying, Come hither, I will show thee the bride, the wife of the Lamb.10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the holy city Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,11 having the glory of God: her light was like unto a stone most precious, as it were a jasper stone, clear as crystal:12 having a wall great and high; having twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels; and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:13 on the east were three gates; and on the north three gates; and on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.15 And he that spake with me had for a measure a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.16 And the city lieth foursquare, and the length thereof is as great as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs: the length and the breadth and the height thereof are equal.17 And he measured the wall thereof, a hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of an angel.18 And the building of the wall thereof was jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto pure glass.19 The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, chalcedony; the fourth, emerald;20 the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprase; the eleventh, jacinth; the twelfth, amethyst.21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; each one of the several gates was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God the Almighty, and the Lamb, are the temple thereof.23 And the city hath no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine upon it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the lamp thereof is the Lamb.24 And the nations shall walk amidst the light thereof: and the kings of the earth bring their glory into it.25 And the gates thereof shall in no wise be shut by day (for there shall be no night there):26 and they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it:27 and there shall in no wise enter into it anything unclean, or he that maketh an abomination and a lie: but only they that are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
