APOCALIPSIS 22
1 El ángel me mostró un río limpio, de agua de vida,t claro como el cristal, que salía del trono de Dios y del Cordero. 2 En medio de la plaza de la ciudad y a cada lado del río crecía el árbol de la vida,t que da fruto cada mes, es decir, doce veces al año; y las hojas del árbol sirven para sanar a las naciones.t 3 Ya no habrá allí nada puesto bajo maldición.t El trono de Dios y del Cordero estará en la ciudad. Sus siervos le adorarán, 4 le verán cara a carat y llevarán su nombre en la frente.t
5 No habrá noche en la ciudad; los que en ella vivan no necesitarán luz de lámpara ni luz del sol, porque Dios el Señor les dará su luz,t y reinarán por todos los siglos.tEPÍLOGO (22.6-21)
6 El ángel me dijo: “Estas palabras son verdaderas y dignas de fe. El Señor, el Dios que inspira a los profetas, ha enviado su ángel para mostrar a sus siervos lo que pronto va a suceder.”
7 “¡Vengo pronto! ¡Dichoso el que hace caso del mensaje profético escrito en este libro!”t
8 Yo, Juan,t vi y oí estas cosas. Y después de verlas y oirlas, me arrodillé a los pies del ángel que me las había mostrado, para adorarlo.
9 Pero él me dijo: “No hagas eso. Yo soy siervo de Dios, lo mismo que tú, que tus hermanos los profetas y que todos los que hacen caso de lo que está escrito en este libro. ¡Adora a Dios!”t
10 También me dijo: “No guardes en secretot el mensaje profético escrito en este libro, porque ya se acerca el tiempo de su cumplimiento.
11 Deja que el malo siga en su maldad, y que el impuro siga en su impureza; pero que el bueno siga haciendo el bien, y que el hombre consagrado a Dios le siga siendo fiel.”t
12 “Sí, vengo pronto, y traigo el premio que voy a dar a cada uno según sus acciones.t
13 Yo soy el alfa y la omega, el primero y el último, el principio y el fin.”t
14 Dichosost los que lavan sus ropast para tener derecho al árbol de la vidat y a entrar por las puertas de la ciudad.
15 Fuera quedarán los pervertidos,t los que practican la brujería, los que cometen inmoralidades sexuales, los asesinos, los que adoran ídolos y todos los que aman el engaño y lo practican.t
16 “Yo, Jesús, he enviado mi ángel para declarar todo esto a las iglesias. Yo soy el retoño descendiente de David.t Soy la estrella brillante de la mañana.”t
17 El Espíritu Santo y la esposa del Corderot dicen: “¡Ven!” Y el que escuche, diga: “¡Ven!” Y el que tenga sed, y quiera, venga y tome gratis del agua de la vida.t
18 A todos los que escuchan el mensaje profético escrito en este libro, les advierto que si alguien añade algo al mensaje, Dios le añadirá a él las calamidades descritas en este libro;
19 y si alguien quita algo del mensaje profético escrito en este libro, Dios le quitará su parte del árbol de la vida y de la ciudad santa que en este libro se han descrito.t
20 El que declara estot dice: “Sí, vengo pronto.”
Amén.t ¡Ven, Señor Jesús!t
21 Que el Señor Jesús derrame su gracia sobre todos.
Revelation 22
1 Thent the angelt showed me the river of the water of life – water as clear as crystal – pouring outt from the throne of God and of the Lamb,2 flowing down the middle of the city’st main street.t On each sidet of the river is the tree of life producing twelve kindst of fruit, yielding its fruit every month of the year.t Its leaves are for the healing of the nations.3 And there will no longer be any curse,t and the throne of God and the Lamb will be in the city.t Hist servantst will worshipt him,4 and they will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.
5 Night will be no more, and they will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, because the Lord God will shine on them, and they will reign forever and ever.
A Final Reminder
6 Thent the angelt said to me, “These words are reliablet and true. The Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, has sent his angel to show his servantst what must happen soon.”
7 (Look! I am coming soon!
Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy expressed in this book.)s
8 I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things,t and when I heard and saw them,t I threw myself downt to worship at the feet of the angel who was showing them to me.9 Butt he said to me, “Do not do this!t I am a fellow servantt with you and with your brothers the prophets, and with those who obeyt the words of this book. Worship God!”10 Thent he said to me, “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy contained in this book, because the time is near.
11 The evildoer must continue to do evil,t and the one who is morally filthyt must continue to be filthy. Thet one who is righteous must continue to act righteously, and the one who is holy must continue to be holy.”
12 (Look! I am coming soon,
and my reward is with me to payt each one according to what he has done!
13 I am the Alpha and the Omega,
the first and the last,
the beginning and the end!)s
14 Blessed are those who wash their robes so they can have accesst to the tree of life and can enter into the city by the gates.
15 Outside are the dogs and the sorcererst and the sexually immoral, and the murderers, and the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood!t
16 “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you about these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star!”t
17 And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say: “Come!” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wants it take the water of life free of charge.
18 I testify to the one who hears the words of the prophecy contained in this book: If anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues describedt in this book.
19 And if anyone takes away from the words of this book of prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of lifes and in the holy city that are described in this book.
20 The one who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon!” Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all.s
