Apocalypse de Jean 22
Le paradis
1 tIl me montra un fleuve d’eau de la vie, limpide comme du cristal, sortant du trône de Dieu et de l’agneau. 2 tAu milieu de la grande rue de la ville et sur les deux bords du fleuve, un arbre de vie produisant douze récoltes et donnant son fruit chaque mois. Les feuilles de l’arbre sont pour la guérison des nations. 3 tIl n’y aura plus de malédiction. Le trône de Dieu et de l’agneau sera dans la ville. Ses esclaves lui rendront un culte ; 4 tils verront son visage, et son nom sera sur leur front.
5 tLa nuit ne sera plus, et ils n’auront besoin ni de la lumière d’une lampe, ni de la lumière du soleil, car c’est le Seigneur Dieu qui les éclairera. Et ils régneront à tout jamais.Je viens bientôt
6 tIl me dit : Ces paroles sont certaines et vraies ; le Seigneur, le Dieu des esprits des prophètes, a envoyé son ange pour montrer à ses esclaves ce qui doit arriver bientôt.
7 tJe viens bientôt. Heureux celui qui garde les paroles de la prophétie de ce livre !
8 tC’est moi, Jean, qui ai entendu et vu ces choses. Quand j’ai entendu et vu, je suis tombé aux pieds de l’ange qui me les montrait, pour me prosterner devant lui.
9 Mais il me dit : Garde-toi de faire cela ! Je ne suis que ton compagnon d’esclavage et celui de tes frères, les prophètes, et de ceux qui gardent les paroles de ce livre. Prosterne-toi devant Dieu !
10 tPuis il me dit : Ne tiens pas secrètes les paroles de la prophétie de ce livre, car le temps est proche.
11 tQue celui qui est injuste soit encore injuste, que celui qui est sale se salisse encore, que le juste fasse encore la justice, et que celui qui est saint soit encore consacré !
12 tJe viens bientôt, et j’apporte avec moi ma récompense, pour rendre à chacun selon son œuvre.
13 tL’alpha et l’oméga, le premier et le dernier, le commencement et la fin, c’est moi.
14 tHeureux ceux qui lavent leurs robes pour avoir droit à l’arbre de la vie et pour entrer par les portes dans la ville !
15 tDehors les chiens, les sorciers, les prostitués, les meurtriers, les idolâtres et quiconque aime et fait le mensonge !
16 tMoi, Jésus, j’ai envoyé mon ange pour vous apporter ce témoignage au sujet des Eglises. C’est moi qui suis le rejeton et la postérité de David, l’étoile resplendissante du matin.
17 tL’Esprit et la mariée disent : Viens ! Que celui qui entend dise : Viens ! Que celui qui a soif vienne ; que celui qui veut prenne de l’eau de la vie, gratuitement !
18 tMoi, je l’atteste à quiconque entend les paroles de la prophétie de ce livre : si quelqu’un y ajoute quelque chose, Dieu lui ajoutera les fléaux décrits dans ce livre ;
19 tet si quelqu’un retranche des paroles du livre de cette prophétie, Dieu retranchera sa part de l’arbre de la vie et de la ville sainte décrits dans ce livre.
20 tCelui qui atteste ces choses dit : Oui, je viens bientôt.Amen ! Viens, Seigneur Jésus !
21 tQue la grâce du Seigneur Jésus soit avec tous !
Revelation 22
1 And he showed me a river of water of life, bright as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb,2 in the midst of the street thereof. And on this side of the river and on that was the tree of life, bearing twelve manner of fruits, yielding its fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.3 And there shall be no curse any more: and the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be therein: and his servants shall serve him;4 and they shall see his face; and his name shall be on their foreheads.5 And there shall be night no more; and they need no light of lamp, neither light of sun; for the Lord God shall give them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.6 And he said unto me, These words are faithful and true: and the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent his angels to show unto his servants the things which must shortly come to pass.7 And behold, I come quickly. Blessed is he that keepeth the words of the prophecy of this book.8 And I John am he that heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel that showed me these things.9 And he saith unto me, See thou do it not: I am a fellow-servant with thee and with thy brethren the prophets, and with them that keep the words of this book: worship God.10 And he saith unto me, Seal not up the words of the prophecy of this book; for the time is at hand.11 He that is unrighteous, let him do unrighteousness still: and he that is filthy, let him be made filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him do righteousness still: and he that is holy, let him be made holy still.12 Behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to render to each man according as his work is.13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.14 Blessed are they that wash their robes, that they may have the right to come to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city.15 Without are the dogs, and the sorcerers, and the fornicators, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and every one that loveth and maketh a lie.16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things for the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright, the morning star.17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And he that heareth, let him say, Come. And he that is athirst, let him come: he that will, let him take the water of life freely.18 I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, if any man shall add unto them, God shall add unto him the plagues which are written in this book:19 and if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the tree of life, and out of the holy city, which are written in this book.20 He who testifieth these things saith, Yea: I come quickly. Amen: come, Lord Jesus.21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with the saints. Amen.
