Offenbarung 22

1 Der Engel zeigte mir auch einen Strom, der wie Kristall glänzte; es war der Strom mit dem Wasser des Lebens. Er entspringt bei tdem Thron Gottes und des Lammes2 und fließt die breite Straße entlang t, ´die mitten durch die Stadt führt`. An beiden Ufern des Stroms wächst der Baum des Lebens. Zwölfmal ´im Jahr` trägt er Früchte, sodass er jeden Monat abgeerntet werden kann t, und seine Blätter bringen den Völkern Heilung.3 Indieser Stadt wird es nichts mehr geben, was unter dem Fluch ´Gottes` steht. Der Thron Gottes und des Lammes wird in der Stadt sein, und alle ihre Bewohner werden Gott dienen und ihn anbeten t.4 Sie werden sein Angesicht sehen und werden seinen Namen auf ihrer Stirn tragen.5 Es wird auch keine Nacht mehr geben, sodass man keine Beleuchtung mehr braucht. Nicht einmal das Sonnenlicht wird mehr nötig sein; denn Gott selbst, der Herr, wird ihr Licht sein. Und ´zusammen mit ihm` werden sie für immer und ewig regieren.

Warten auf die Wiederkunft Christi: Zusagen und Warnungen

6 Der Engel tsagte zu mir: »Alles, was dir mitgeteilt wurde, ist twahr und zuverlässig. Der Herr selbst - der Gott, dessen Geist durch die Propheten redet t- hat ´mich,` seinen Engel, gesandt, um seinen Dienern zu zeigen, was kommen muss und schon bald geschehen wird t.«
7 »Denkt daran t: Ich komme bald«, ´sagt Jesus.` »Glücklich, wer sich nach diesem Buch mit seiner prophetischen Botschaft richtet!«
8 Ich, Johannes, habe alles gehört und gesehen, was hier berichtet ist. Überwältigt von dem, was ich gehört und gesehen hatte t, warf ich mich vor dem Engel nieder, der mir das alles gezeigt hatte, und wollte ihn anbeten.9 Doch er sagte zu mir: »Tu das nicht! Ich bin ´Gottes` Diener wie du und deine Brüder, die Propheten, und wie alle, die sich nach der Botschaft dieses Buches richten.Bete vielmehr Gott an!«
10 Weiter sagte der Engel tzu mir: »Versiegle dieses Buch nicht! Halte seine prophetische Botschaft nicht geheim! tDenn was hier angekündigt ist, wird sich bald erfüllen.11 Wer Unrecht tut, mag weiter Unrecht tun, und wer an Unreinheit Gefallen hat t, mag sich weiter verunreinigen. Wer aber so handelt, wie es recht ist, soll weiterhin das Rechte tun, und wer ein geheiligtes Leben führt, soll weiterhin so leben, wie es Gott gefällt t.«
12 »Ja, ich komme bald«, ´sagt Jesus,` »und bringe jedem den Lohn mit, den er für sein Tun verdient hat.13 Ich bin das A und das O, der Erste und der Letzte, der Ursprung und das Ziel ´aller Dinge`.«
14 Glücklich, wer seine Kleider wäscht und sie von allem Schmutz reinigt! Er hat das Recht, vom Baum des Lebens zu essen; die Tore der Stadt werden ihm offen stehen. t15 Keinen Zutritt hingegen haben die abtrünnigen Hunde tund die, die okkulte Praktiken ausüben, sich sexueller Ausschweifung hingeben, andere umbringen oder Götzen anbeten. Sie und alle, die die Lüge lieben und sich in ihrem Tun von ihr leiten lassen, sind und bleiben draußen. t
16 »Ich, Jesus, habe meinen Engel zu euch gesandt, um euch diese Botschaft bekannt zu machen t; sie ist für alle Gemeinden bestimmt t. Ich bin der Nachkomme Davids, der Spross aus seinem Wurzelstock. tIch bin der helle Morgenstern.«
17 Der Geist ´Gottes` und die Braut rufen: »Komm!« Und wer diesen Ruf hört t, soll ebenfalls sagen: »Komm!«
Wer Durst hat, der komme! Wer will, der trinke vom Wasser des Lebens; er bekommt es umsonst.
18 Ich erkläre tjedem, der die prophetische Botschaft dieses Buches hört: Wer dieser Botschaft etwas hinzufügt, dem wird Gott die Plagen zufügen, die in diesem Buch beschrieben sind.19 Und wer von der prophetischen Botschaft dieses Buches etwas wegnimmt, dem wird Gott wegnehmen, was ihm in diesem Buch als sein Anteil zugesprochen ist - das Recht, vom Baum des Lebens zu essen, und das Recht, in der heiligen Stadt zu wohnen t.
20 Der, der sich für die Wahrheit aller dieser Dinge verbürgt t, sagt: »Ja, ich komme bald.« - »Amen. Ja, komm, Herr Jesus!«
21 Die Gnade des Herrn Jesus sei mit allen t.

Revelation 22

1 And he showed me a river of water of life, bright as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb,2 in the midst of the street thereof. And on this side of the river and on that was the tree of life, bearing twelve manner of fruits, yielding its fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.3 And there shall be no curse any more: and the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be therein: and his servants shall serve him;4 and they shall see his face; and his name shall be on their foreheads.5 And there shall be night no more; and they need no light of lamp, neither light of sun; for the Lord God shall give them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.6 And he said unto me, These words are faithful and true: and the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent his angels to show unto his servants the things which must shortly come to pass.7 And behold, I come quickly. Blessed is he that keepeth the words of the prophecy of this book.8 And I John am he that heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel that showed me these things.9 And he saith unto me, See thou do it not: I am a fellow-servant with thee and with thy brethren the prophets, and with them that keep the words of this book: worship God.10 And he saith unto me, Seal not up the words of the prophecy of this book; for the time is at hand.11 He that is unrighteous, let him do unrighteousness still: and he that is filthy, let him be made filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him do righteousness still: and he that is holy, let him be made holy still.12 Behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to render to each man according as his work is.13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.14 Blessed are they that wash their robes, that they may have the right to come to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city.15 Without are the dogs, and the sorcerers, and the fornicators, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and every one that loveth and maketh a lie.16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things for the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright, the morning star.17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And he that heareth, let him say, Come. And he that is athirst, let him come: he that will, let him take the water of life freely.18 I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, if any man shall add unto them, God shall add unto him the plagues which are written in this book:19 and if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the tree of life, and out of the holy city, which are written in this book.20 He who testifieth these things saith, Yea: I come quickly. Amen: come, Lord Jesus.21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with the saints. Amen.
