요한계시록 22

1 천사는 또, 수정과 같이 빛나는 생명수의 강을 내게 보여 주었습니다. 그 강은 하나님의 보좌와 어린 양의 보좌로부터 흘러 나와서, 2 도시의 넓은 거리 한가운데를 흘렀습니다. 강 양쪽에는 열두 종류의 열매를 맺는 생명 나무가 있어서, 달마다 열매를 내고, 그 나뭇잎은 민족들을 치료하는 데 쓰입니다. 3 다시 저주를 받을 일이라고는 아무것도 그 도성에 없을 것입니다. 하나님과 어린 양의 보좌가 도성 안에 있고, 그의 종들이 그를 예배하며, 4 하나님의 얼굴을 뵐 것입니다. 그들의 이마에는 그의 이름이 적혀 있고, 5 다시는 밤이 없고, 등불이나 햇빛이 필요 없습니다. 그것은 주 하나님께서 그들을 비추시기 때문입니다. 그들은 영원무궁 하도록 다스릴 것입니다.

오십시오, 주 예수님

6 천사가 또 나에게 말하였습니다. “이 말씀은 믿음직하고 참되다. 예언자들에게 영을 내려 주시는 주 하나님께서 자기의 종들에게 곧 일어날 일들을 보여 주시려고, 자기의 천사들을 보내셨다. 7 ‘보아라, 내가 곧 오겠다’ 하신 주님의 말씀을 기억하여라.” 이 책에 기록된 예언의 말씀을 지키는 사람들은 복이 있습니다. 8 이 모든 것을 듣고 본 사람은 나 요한입니다. 내가 이 모든 것을 듣고 볼 때에, 이것들을 내게 보여 준 그 천사의 발 앞에 엎드려 경배하려고 하였더니, 9 그가 나에게 말하였습니다. “이렇게 하지 말아라. 나도, 너와 너의 t동료 예언자들과 이 책의 말씀을 지키는 사람들과 같은 종이다. 경배는 하나님께 드려라.” 10 또 그가 나에게 말하였습니다. “때가 가까이 왔으니, 이 책에 적힌 예언의 말씀을 봉인하지 말아라. 11 이제는 불의를 행하는 자는 그대로 불의를 행하고, 더러운 자는 그대로 더러운 채로 있어라. 의로운 사람은 그대로 의를 행하고, 거룩한 사람은 그대로 거룩한 채로 있어라.” 12 “보아라, 내가 곧 가겠다. 나는 각 사람에게 그 행위대로 갚아 주려고 상을 가지고 간다. 13 나는 알파며 오메가, 곧 처음이며 마지막이요, 시작이며 끝이다. 14 생명 나무에 이르는 권리를 차지하려고, 그리고 성문으로 해서 도성에 들어가려고, 자기 겉옷을 깨끗이 빠는 사람은 복이 있다. 15 개들과 마술쟁이들과 음행하는 자들과 살인자들과 우상 숭배자들과 거짓을 사랑하고 행하는 자는 다 바깥에 남아 있게 될 것이다. 16 나 예수는 나의 천사를 너희에게 보내어, 교회들에 주는 이 모든 증언을 전하게 하였다. 나는 다윗의 뿌리요, 그의 자손이요, 빛나는 샛별이다.” 17 성령과 신부가 “오십시오!” 하고 말씀하십니다. 이 말을 듣는 사람도 또한 “오십시오!” 하고 외치십시오. 목이 마른 사람도 오십시오. 생명의 물을 원하는 사람은 거저 받으십시오.

18 나는 이 책에 기록한 예언의 말씀을 듣는 모든 사람에게 증언합니다. 누구든지 여기에 무엇을 덧붙이면, 하나님께서 그에게 이 책에 기록한 재앙들을 덧붙이실 것이요, 19 또 누구든지 이 예언의 책에 기록한 말씀에서 무엇을 없애 버리면, 하나님께서 이 책에 기록한 생명 나무와 그 거룩한 도성에서 그가 누릴 몫을 없애 버리실 것입니다. 20 이 모든 계시를 증언하시는 분이 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “그렇다. 내가 곧 가겠다.” 아멘. 오십시오, 주 예수님! 21 주 예수의 은혜가 t모든 사람에게 있기를 빕니다. t아멘.

REVELATION 22

1  t The angel showed me a river that was crystal clear, and its waters gave life. The river came from the throne where God and the Lamb were seated.

2 t Then it flowed down the middle of the city's main street. On each side of the river are treest that grow a different kind of fruit each month of the year. The fruit gives life, and the leaves are used as medicine to heal the nations.
3  t God's curse will no longer be on the people of that city. He and the Lamb will be seated there on their thrones, and its people will worship God 4 tand will see him face to face. God's name will be written on the foreheads of the people.

5 t Never again will night appear, and no one who lives there will ever need a lamp or the sun. The Lord God will be their light, and they will rule forever.

The Coming of Christ

6 Then I was told:
These words are true and can be trusted. The Lord God controls the spirits of his prophets, and he is the one who sent his angel to show his servants what must happen very soon.

7 Remember, I am coming soon! God will bless everyone who pays attention to the message of this book.

8 My name is John, and I am the one who heard and saw these things. Then after I had heard and seen all this, I knelt down and began to worship at the feet of the angel who had shown it to me.

9 But the angel said,
Don't do that! I am a servant, just like you. I am the same as a follower or a prophet or anyone else who obeys what is written in this book. God is the one you should worship.

10 Don't keep the prophecies in this book a secret. These things will happen soon.

11  t Evil people will keep on being evil, and everyone who is dirty-minded will still be dirty-minded. But good people will keep on doing right, and God's people will always be holy.

12  t Then I was told:
I am coming soon! And when I come, I will reward everyone for what they have done.

13 t I am Alpha and Omega, t the first and the last, the beginning and the end.
14  t God will bless all who have washed their robes. They will each have the right to eat fruit from the tree that gives life, and they can enter the gates of the city.

15 But outside the city will be dogs, witches, immoral people, murderers, idol worshipers, and everyone who loves to tell lies and do wrong.

16  t I am Jesus! And I am the one who sent my angel to tell all of you these things for the churches. I am David's Great Descendant, t and I am also the bright morning star.t

17  t The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!”
Everyone who hears thist should say, “Come!”
If you are thirsty, come! If you want life-giving water, come and take it. It's free!

18  t Here is my warning for everyone who hears the prophecies in this book:
If you add anything to them, God will make you suffer all the terrible troubles written in this book.

19 If you take anything away from these prophecies, God will not let you have part in the life-giving tree and in the holy city described in this book.

20 The one who has spoken these things says, “I am coming soon!”
So, Lord Jesus, please come soon!
21 I pray that the Lord Jesus will be kind to all of you.
