Revelation 22

1 Puis il me montra le fleuve d'eau de la vie, limpide comme du cristal, qui sortait du trône de Dieu et de l'Agneau.2 Au milieu de la place de la ville et entre les deux bras du fleuve se trouvait l'arbre de vie qui produit douze récoltes; il donne son fruit chaque mois et ses feuilles servent à la guérison des nations.3 Il n'y aura plus de malédiction. Le trône de Dieu et de l'Agneau sera dans la ville; ses serviteurs lui rendront un culte.4 Ils verront son visage et son nom sera sur leur front.

5 Il n'y aura plus de nuit et ils n'auront besoin ni de la lumière d'une lampe ni de celle du soleil, parce que le Seigneur Dieu les éclairera. Et ils régneront aux siècles des siècles.

Conclusion

6 Il me dit: «Ces paroles sont dignes de confiance et vraies; et le Seigneur, le Dieu de l'esprit des prophètes, a envoyé son ange pour montrer à ses serviteurs ce qui doit arriver bientôt.»

7 «Voici, je viens bientôt. Heureux celui qui garde les paroles de la prophétie de ce livre!»
8 Moi, Jean, j'ai entendu et vu ces choses. Après les avoir entendues et vues, je tombai aux pieds de l'ange qui me les montrait pour l'adorer.

9 Mais il me dit: «Garde-toi bien de le faire! Je suis ton compagnon de service, celui de tes frères les prophètes et de ceux qui gardent les paroles de ce livre. Adore Dieu.»
10 Puis il ajouta: «Ne marque pas du sceau du secret les paroles de la prophétie de ce livre, car le temps est proche.

11 Que celui qui est injuste commette encore des injustices et que celui qui est sale se salisse encore, mais que le juste pratique encore la justice et que celui qui est saint progresse encore dans la sainteté.»
12 «Voici, je viens bientôt et j'apporte avec moi ma récompense pour traiter chacun conformément à son œuvre.13 Je suis l'Alpha et l'Oméga, le premier et le dernier, le commencement et la fin.14 Heureux ceux qui lavent leur robe: ils auront droit à l'arbre de vie et pourront entrer par les portes dans la ville!15 Dehors les chiens, les sorciers, ceux qui vivent dans l'immoralité sexuelle, les meurtriers, les idolâtres et tous ceux qui aiment et pratiquent le mensonge!

16 Moi Jésus, j'ai envoyé mon ange pour vous attester ces choses dans les Eglises. Je suis le rejeton de la racine de David et son descendant, l'étoile brillante du matin.»

17 L'Esprit et l'épouse disent: «Viens!» Que celui qui entend dise: «Viens!» Que celui qui a soif vienne! Que celui qui veut de l'eau de la vie la prenne gratuitement!
18 Je le déclare à toute personne qui écoute les paroles de prophétie de ce livre: si quelqu'un y ajoute quelque chose, Dieu lui ajoutera les fléaux décrits dans ce livre;

19 et si quelqu'un enlève quelque chose aux paroles du livre de cette prophétie, Dieu enlèvera sa part de l'arbre de la vie et de la ville sainte décrits dans ce livre.

20 Celui qui atteste ces choses dit: «Oui, je viens bientôt.»

Amen! Viens, Seigneur Jésus!

21 Que la grâce du Seigneur Jésus[-Christ] soit avec tous les saints!

Revelation 22

1 And he showed me a river of water of life, bright as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb,2 in the midst of the street thereof. And on this side of the river and on that was the tree of life, bearing twelve manner of fruits, yielding its fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.3 And there shall be no curse any more: and the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be therein: and his servants shall serve him;4 and they shall see his face; and his name shall be on their foreheads.5 And there shall be night no more; and they need no light of lamp, neither light of sun; for the Lord God shall give them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.6 And he said unto me, These words are faithful and true: and the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent his angels to show unto his servants the things which must shortly come to pass.7 And behold, I come quickly. Blessed is he that keepeth the words of the prophecy of this book.8 And I John am he that heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel that showed me these things.9 And he saith unto me, See thou do it not: I am a fellow-servant with thee and with thy brethren the prophets, and with them that keep the words of this book: worship God.10 And he saith unto me, Seal not up the words of the prophecy of this book; for the time is at hand.11 He that is unrighteous, let him do unrighteousness still: and he that is filthy, let him be made filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him do righteousness still: and he that is holy, let him be made holy still.12 Behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to render to each man according as his work is.13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.14 Blessed are they that wash their robes, that they may have the right to come to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city.15 Without are the dogs, and the sorcerers, and the fornicators, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and every one that loveth and maketh a lie.16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things for the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright, the morning star.17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And he that heareth, let him say, Come. And he that is athirst, let him come: he that will, let him take the water of life freely.18 I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, if any man shall add unto them, God shall add unto him the plagues which are written in this book:19 and if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the tree of life, and out of the holy city, which are written in this book.20 He who testifieth these things saith, Yea: I come quickly. Amen: come, Lord Jesus.21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with the saints. Amen.
