วิวรณ์ 22
1 ท่านได้ชี้ให้ข้าพเจ้าดูแม่น้ำบริสุทธิ์ที่มีน้ำแห่งชีวิต ใสเหมือนแก้วผลึก ไหลออกมาจากพระที่นั่งของพระเจ้า และของพระเมษโปดก2 ท่ามกลางถนนในเมืองนั้นและริมแม่น้ำทั้งสองฟากมีต้นไม้แห่งชีวิต ซึ่งออกผลสิบสองชนิด ออกผลทุกๆเดือน และใบของต้นไม้นั้นสำหรับรักษาบรรดาประชาชาติให้หาย3 จะไม่มีการสาปแช่งใดๆอีกต่อไป พระที่นั่งของพระเจ้าและของพระเมษโปดกจะตั้งอยู่ในเมืองนั้น และบรรดาผู้รับใช้ของพระองค์จะปรนนิบัติพระองค์4 เขาเหล่านั้นจะเห็นพระพักตร์พระองค์ และพระนามของพระองค์จะประทับอยู่ที่หน้าผากเขา5 กลางคืนจะไม่มีที่นั่น เขาไม่ต้องการแสงเทียนหรือแสงอาทิตย์ เพราะว่าองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าคือพระเจ้าทรงประทานแสงสว่างแก่เขา และเขาจะครอบครองอยู่ตลอดไปเป็นนิตย์6 และทูตสวรรค์องค์นั้นบอกข้าพเจ้าว่า "ถ้อยคำเหล่านี้เป็นคำสัตย์ซื่อและสัตย์จริง และองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า พระเจ้าแห่งพวกศาสดาพยากรณ์อันบริสุทธิ์ ได้ทรงใช้ทูตสวรรค์ของพระองค์สำแดงแก่บรรดาผู้รับใช้ของพระองค์ ถึงเหตุการณ์ทั้งปวงซึ่งจะอุบัติขึ้นในไม่ช้า"7 "ดูเถิด เราจะมาโดยเร็ว ผู้ใดที่ถือรักษาคำพยากรณ์ในหนังสือนี้ก็เป็นสุข"8 ข้าพเจ้า คือยอห์น เป็นผู้ได้เห็นและได้ยินเหตุการณ์เหล่านี้ และครั้นข้าพเจ้าได้ยินและได้เห็นแล้ว ข้าพเจ้าก็ทรุดตัวลงจะนมัสการแทบเท้าทูตสวรรค์ที่ได้สำแดงเหตุการณ์เหล่านี้แก่ข้าพเจ้า9 แต่ท่านห้ามข้าพเจ้าว่า "อย่าเลย ด้วยว่าข้าพเจ้าเป็นเพื่อนผู้รับใช้เช่นเดียวกับท่าน และพวกพี่น้องของท่านคือพวกศาสดาพยากรณ์ และพวกที่ถือรักษาถ้อยคำในหนังสือนี้ จงนมัสการพระเจ้าเถิด"10 และท่านบอกข้าพเจ้าว่า "อย่าประทับตราปิดคำพยากรณ์ในหนังสือนี้ เพราะว่าใกล้จะถึงเวลานั้นแล้ว11 ผู้ที่เป็นคนอธรรมก็ให้เขาอธรรมต่อไป ผู้ที่เป็นคนลามกก็ให้เขาลามกต่อไป ผู้ที่เป็นคนชอบธรรมก็ให้เขาชอบธรรมต่อไป และผู้ที่เป็นคนบริสุทธิ์ก็ให้เขาเป็นคนบริสุทธิ์ต่อไป"12 "ดูเถิด เราจะมาโดยเร็ว และจะนำบำเหน็จของเรามาด้วย เพื่อตอบแทนการกระทำของทุกคน13 เราคืออัลฟาและโอเมกา เป็นปฐมและเป็นอวสาน เป็นเบื้องต้นและเบื้องปลาย"14 คนทั้งหลายที่ประพฤติตามพระบัญญัติของพระองค์ก็เป็นสุข เพื่อว่าเขาจะได้มีสิทธิ์ในต้นไม้แห่งชีวิต และเพื่อเขาจะได้เข้าไปในเมืองนั้นโดยทางประตู15 ด้วยว่าภายนอกนั้นมีสุนัข คนใช้เวทมนตร์ คนล่วงประเวณี ฆาตกร คนไหว้รูปเคารพ คนใดที่รักและกระทำการมุสา16 "เราคือเยซูผู้ใช้ให้ทูตสวรรค์ของเราไปเป็นพยานสำแดงเหตุการณ์เหล่านี้แก่ท่านเพื่อคริสตจักรทั้งหลาย เราเป็นรากและเป็นเชื้อสายของดาวิด และเป็นดาวประจำรุ่งอันสุกใส"17 พระวิญญาณและเจ้าสาวตรัสว่า "เชิญมาเถิด" และให้ผู้ที่ได้ยินกล่าวว่า "เชิญมาเถิด" และให้ผู้ที่กระหายเข้ามา ผู้ใดมีใจปรารถนา ก็ให้ผู้นั้นมารับน้ำแห่งชีวิตโดยไม่ต้องเสียอะไรเลย18 ข้าพเจ้าเป็นพยานแก่ทุกคนที่ได้ยินคำพยากรณ์ในหนังสือนี้ว่า ถ้าผู้ใดจะเพิ่มเติมคำเข้าไปในหนังสือนี้ พระเจ้าก็จะทรงเพิ่มภัยพิบัติที่เขียนไว้ในหนังสือม้วนนี้แก่ผู้นั้น19 และถ้าผู้ใดตัดข้อความออกจากหนังสือพยากรณ์นี้ พระเจ้าก็จะทรงเอาส่วนแบ่งของผู้นั้นที่มีอยู่ในหนังสือแห่งชีวิต และที่มีอยู่ในเมืองบริสุทธิ์นั้น และจากสิ่งที่มีเขียนไว้ในหนังสือม้วนนี้ไปเสีย20 พระองค์ผู้ทรงเป็นพยานในเหตุการณ์ทั้งปวงนี้ ตรัสว่า "แน่นอน เราจะมาโดยเร็ว" เอเมน พระเยซูเจ้า ขอให้เป็นเช่นนั้น เชิญเสด็จมาเถิด21 ขอให้พระคุณแห่งพระเยซูคริสต์องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าของเรา จงดำรงอยู่กับท่านทั้งหลายเถิด เอเมน
Revelation 22
1 And he showed me a river of water of life, bright as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb,2 in the midst of the street thereof. And on this side of the river and on that was the tree of life, bearing twelve manner of fruits, yielding its fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.3 And there shall be no curse any more: and the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be therein: and his servants shall serve him;4 and they shall see his face; and his name shall be on their foreheads.5 And there shall be night no more; and they need no light of lamp, neither light of sun; for the Lord God shall give them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.6 And he said unto me, These words are faithful and true: and the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent his angels to show unto his servants the things which must shortly come to pass.7 And behold, I come quickly. Blessed is he that keepeth the words of the prophecy of this book.8 And I John am he that heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel that showed me these things.9 And he saith unto me, See thou do it not: I am a fellow-servant with thee and with thy brethren the prophets, and with them that keep the words of this book: worship God.10 And he saith unto me, Seal not up the words of the prophecy of this book; for the time is at hand.11 He that is unrighteous, let him do unrighteousness still: and he that is filthy, let him be made filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him do righteousness still: and he that is holy, let him be made holy still.12 Behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to render to each man according as his work is.13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.14 Blessed are they that wash their robes, that they may have the right to come to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city.15 Without are the dogs, and the sorcerers, and the fornicators, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and every one that loveth and maketh a lie.16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things for the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright, the morning star.17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And he that heareth, let him say, Come. And he that is athirst, let him come: he that will, let him take the water of life freely.18 I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, if any man shall add unto them, God shall add unto him the plagues which are written in this book:19 and if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the tree of life, and out of the holy city, which are written in this book.20 He who testifieth these things saith, Yea: I come quickly. Amen: come, Lord Jesus.21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with the saints. Amen.
