Wahyu 22

1 Kemudian malaikat itu menunjukkan sungai air kehidupan kepadaku. Sungai itu jernih seperti kristal. Sungai itu mengalir dari takhta Allah dan Anak Domba itu.2 Sungai itu mengalir di tengah-tengah jalan kota. Pohon Kehidupan terdapat di kedua tepi sungai itu. Pohon Kehidupan itu berbuah setiap bulan, 12 kali setahun. Daun pohon itu dipakai untuk menyembuhkan semua orang.3 Tidak ada yang terkutuk di dalam kota itu. Takhta Allah dan Anak Domba akan ada di dalam kota itu. Hamba-hamba Allah akan beribadat kepada-Nya.4 Mereka akan melihat wajah Allah. Nama Allah akan tertulis pada dahi mereka.5 Di kota itu tidak ada lagi malam hari. Mereka tidak memerlukan cahaya lampu atau cahaya matahari. Allah akan menjadi terang bagi mereka. Mereka akan memerintah sebagai raja sampai selama-lamanya.6 Malaikat itu berkata kepadaku, "Perkataan-perkataan itu benar dan dapat dipercaya. Tuhan adalah Allah dari roh para nabi.t Ia telah mengutus malaikat-Nya untuk menunjukkan kepada hamba-hamba-Nya yang harus terjadi segera.7 Dengarlah. Aku datang segera. Betapa bahagianya orang yang menuruti perkataan-perkataan nubuatt kitab ini."8 Aku Yohanes. Akulah yang telah mendengar dan melihat semuanya itu. Setelah aku mendengar dan melihatnya, aku menyembah di depan kaki malaikat, yang telah menunjukkan semuanya itu kepadaku.9 Tetapi malaikat itu berkata kepadaku, "Jangan lakukan itu. Aku adalah hamba seperti engkau dan saudara-saudaramu para nabi. Aku adalah hamba seperti semua orang yang menuruti perkataan-perkataan di dalam kitab ini. Engkau harus menyembah Allah."10 Kemudian malaikat itu berkata kepadaku, "Jangan merahasiakan perkataan-perkataan nubuat di dalam kitab itu sebab waktunya sudah dekat.11 Biarkan orang yang melakukan yang jahat tetap melakukan yang jahat. Biarkan orang yang cemar tetap cemar. Biarkan orang yang melakukan yang benar tetap melakukan yang benar. Biarkan orang yang kudus tetap kudus."12 "Dengarlah. Aku datang segera. Aku akan membawa upah untuk setiap orang menurut perbuatannya.13 Aku adalah Alfa dan Omega, Yang Pertama dan Yang Terakhir, Yang Awal dan Yang Akhir.14 Betapa bahagianya mereka yang membasuh pakaiannya sehingga mereka akan menerima hak untuk makan dari pohon kehidupan itu. Mereka dapat masuk melalui pintu-pintu gerbang ke dalam kota itu.15 Orang yang bersifat seperti anjing, yaitu: tukang-tukang sihir, orang sundal, pembunuh, penyembah berhala, dan semua yang mencintai dan melakukan dusta akan tinggal di luar kota.16 Aku, Yesus, telah mengutus malaikat-Ku memberi kesaksian tentang semuanya itu kepada jemaat-jemaat. Aku keturunan Daud.t Aku Bintang Timur yang cemerlang."17 Roht dan pengantin perempuan itu berkata "Marilah." Orang yang mendengar itu harus juga mengatakan, "Marilah. Jika ada yang haus, hendaklah ia datang. Jika ia mau, ia dapat menerima air kehidupan dengan cuma-cuma."18 Aku bersaksi kepada semua orang yang mendengar perkataan nubuat kitab ini, "Jika ada yang menambahkan sesuatu ke dalam perkataan ini, Allah akan menambahkan malapetaka yang tertulis di dalam kitab ini kepadanya.19 Dan jika ada yang mengurangkan sesuatu dari perkataan dalam kitab nubuat ini, Allah akan mengambil bagiannya dari pohon kehidupan dan dari kota kudus seperti yang tertulis di dalam kitab ini."

20 Yesus, yang memberi kesaksian tentang semuanya itu berfirman, "Ya, Aku datang segera."
Amin.t Datanglah Tuhan Yesus.21 Semoga Tuhan Yesus memberikan berkat dan menyertai semua orang. Amin.

Revelation 22

The River and the Tree of Life

1 Then he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of tthe Lamb,2 in the middle of its street. On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve t kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.3 There will no longer be any curse; and the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His bond-servants will serve Him;4 they will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads.5 And there will no longer be any night; and they will not have need of the light of a lamp nor the light of the sun, because the Lord God will illumine them; and they will reign forever and ever.

6 And he said to me, "These words are faithful and true"; and the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent His angel to show to His bond-servants the things which must soon take place.

7 "And behold, I am coming quickly. Blessed is he who heeds the words of the prophecy of this book."

8 I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed me these things.9 But he *said to me, "Do not do that. I am a fellow servant of yours and of your brethren the prophets and of those who heed the words of this book. Worship God."

The Final Message

10 And he *said to me, "Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near.11 Let the one who does wrong, still do wrong; and the one who is filthy, still be filthy; and let the one who is righteous, still practice righteousness; and the one who is holy, still keep himself holy."

12 "Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done.13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end."

14 Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter by the gates into the city.15 Outside are the dogs and the sorcerers and the immoral persons and the murderers and the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices lying.

16 "I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star."

17 The Spirit and the bride say, "Come." And let the one who hears say, "Come." And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost.

18 I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues which are written in this book;19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the tree of life and from the holy city, which are written in this book.

20 He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming quickly." Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with tall. Amen.
