Apocalipse 22

1 Então o anjo me mostrou o rio da água da vida, brilhante como cristal, que saía do trono de Deus e do Cordeiro2 e que passava no meio de todas as ruas da cidade. Em cada lado do rio havia árvores que vieram a ser a árvore da vida. Cada árvore produzia frutos doze vezes por ano, dando fruto uma vez por mês e as folhas das árvores serviam para curar as nações.3 Nunca mais haverá maldição lá e o trono de Deus e do Cordeiro estará nela. Os servos de Deus o adorarão4 e verão o seu rosto e o seu nome estará escrito nas testas deles.

5 Então já não haverá noite e eles não precisarão nem da luz de lamparina nem da luz do sol, pois o Senhor Deus os iluminará e eles reinarão para todo o sempre.

6 Depois o anjo me disse:
—Estas palavras são fiéis e verdadeiras. O Senhor, o Deus dos espíritos dos profetast, enviou o seu anjo para mostrar aos servos de Deus as coisas que devem acontecer brevemente.

7 —Olhem, eu vou chegar em breve. Feliz é aquele que obedece às palavras da profeciat deste livro.
8 Eu, João, vi e ouvi todas estas coisas. E, quando as vi e ouvi, ajoelhei-me aos pés do anjo que tinha me mostrado tudo aquilo. Eu estava fazendo isso para adorá-lo,

9 mas ele me disse:
—Cuidado! Não faça isso! Eu sou seu companheiro, assim como também sou companheiro dos profetast, e de todos os irmãos que obedecem às palavras que estão escritas neste livro. Adore a Deus.

10 Ele ainda me disse:
—Não mantenha as palavras da profeciat deste livro em segredo, pois o tempo está próximo.

11 Que aquele que é mau continue a praticar a maldade e aquele que é impuro continue a ser impuro. Que aquele que é bom continue a praticar a bondade e aquele que é puro continue a ser puro.
12 —Olhem, eu vou chegar logo e vou trazer a recompensa que tenho para cada um de vocês. Eu retribuirei a cada um de acordo com as suas próprias obras.13 Eu sou o Alfa e o Ômegat, o Primeiro e o Último, o Princípio e o Fim.14 Felizes são aqueles que lavam as suas roupas, para terem direito de comer da árvore da vida e de entrar na cidade pelas portas.

15 Mas os cães, os que praticam feitiçaria, os que cometem imoralidade sexual, os assassinos, os adoradores de ídolos e todos aqueles que amam e praticam a mentira ficarão do lado de fora.

16 —Eu, Jesus, lhes enviei o meu anjo para testemunhar a respeito destas coisas às igrejas. Eu sou descendente da família de Davi, a estrela brilhante da manhã.

17 O Espíritot e a noiva dizem:
—Venha!
E aquele que ouvir isto diga:
—Venha!
Que aquele que tiver sede, venha. E quem quiser, receba de graça a água da vida.
18 Eu, João, aviso solenemente aos que ouvem as palavras da profeciat deste livro: Se alguém acrescentar alguma coisa a elas, Deus lhe acrescentará as pragas escritas neste livro.19 E se alguém tirar qualquer coisa das palavras desta profecia, Deus tirará a sua parte da árvore da vida e da cidade santa, as quais estão descritas neste livro.

20 Aquele que dá testemunho destas coisas diz:
—Com certeza Eu vou chegar logo!
Amém. Venha, Senhor Jesus!

21 Que a graçat do Senhor Jesus esteja com todos vocês.

Revelation 22

The River and the Tree of Life

1 Then he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of tthe Lamb,2 in the middle of its street. On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve t kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.3 There will no longer be any curse; and the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His bond-servants will serve Him;4 they will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads.5 And there will no longer be any night; and they will not have need of the light of a lamp nor the light of the sun, because the Lord God will illumine them; and they will reign forever and ever.

6 And he said to me, "These words are faithful and true"; and the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent His angel to show to His bond-servants the things which must soon take place.

7 "And behold, I am coming quickly. Blessed is he who heeds the words of the prophecy of this book."

8 I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed me these things.9 But he *said to me, "Do not do that. I am a fellow servant of yours and of your brethren the prophets and of those who heed the words of this book. Worship God."

The Final Message

10 And he *said to me, "Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near.11 Let the one who does wrong, still do wrong; and the one who is filthy, still be filthy; and let the one who is righteous, still practice righteousness; and the one who is holy, still keep himself holy."

12 "Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done.13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end."

14 Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter by the gates into the city.15 Outside are the dogs and the sorcerers and the immoral persons and the murderers and the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices lying.

16 "I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star."

17 The Spirit and the bride say, "Come." And let the one who hears say, "Come." And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost.

18 I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues which are written in this book;19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the tree of life and from the holy city, which are written in this book.

20 He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming quickly." Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with tall. Amen.
