Penyembahan di surga

1 Sesudah itu saya mendapat penglihatan lagi. Saya melihat sebuah pintu terbuka di surga. Kemudian terdengar lagi suara yang pada mulanya sudah berbicara kepada saya seperti bunyi trompet. Suara itu berkata, “Mari naik ke sini. Aku akan menunjukkan kepadamu apa yang akan terjadi nanti.” 2 Langsung saja saya dikuasai Roh Allah. Lalu saya melihat di surga ada sebuah takhta, dan ada seseorang duduk di takhta itu. 3 Muka orang itu bersinar seperti permata baiduri pandan dan permata delima. Suatu pelangi warna zamrud melingkari takhta itu. t 4 Dalam bentuk lingkaran sekeliling takhta itu ada dua puluh empat takhta yang lain. Di situ duduk dua puluh empat pemimpin yang berpakaian putih, dan memakai mahkota emas. 5 Dari takhta itu terpancar cahaya kilat dan keluar bunyi guntur yang bergelegaran. Dan di depan takhta itu ada tujuh obor yang bernyala; itulah ketujuh Roh Allah. t 6 Terdapat juga di depan takhta itu sesuatu yang kelihatan seperti lautan kaca, bening seperti kristal. Di sekeliling takhta, pada setiap sisinya, ada empat makhluk, yang bagian depan dan bagian belakangnya penuh dengan mata. t t

7 Makhluk yang pertama kelihatan seperti singa. Yang kedua, seperti sapi jantan. Yang ketiga mempunyai muka seperti muka manusia. Yang keempat, kelihatan seperti burung rajawali yang sedang terbang. 8 Keempat makhluk itu, masing-masing mempunyai enam sayap, dan sekelilingnya dan di sebelah dalamnya penuh dengan mata. Siang malam makhluk-makhluk itu tidak berhenti-hentinya menyanyi, “Kudus, kudus, kuduslah Tuhan, Allah Mahakuasa; yang ada, yang sudah ada, dan yang ada seterusnya.” t

9 Keempat makhluk itu menyanyikan lagu-lagu pujian, hormat dan syukur kepada Dia yang duduk di takhta itu, yaitu Dia yang hidup untuk selama-lamanya. Dan pada waktu makhluk-makhluk itu menyanyi, 10 kedua puluh empat pemimpin itu tersungkur di depan orang yang duduk di takhta itu, lalu menyembah Dia yang hidup selama-lamanya. Kemudian mereka melemparkan mahkota-mahkota mereka ke depan takhta itu serta berkata,

11 “Ya Tuhan, ya Allah kami! Engkau sajalah yang layak menerima pujian, hormat dan kuasa. Sebab Engkaulah pencipta segala sesuatu, dan atas kehendak-Mu juga segala sesuatu itu telah terjadi dan hidup.” uSFM June 2003 ZB

The Amazing Scene in Heaven

1 After these things I looked, and there wast a door standing open in heaven!t And the first voice I had heard speaking to met like a trumpets said: “Come up here so thatt I can show you what must happen after these things.”2 Immediately I was in the Spirit,t andt a throne was standingt in heaven with someone seated on it!3 And the one seated on it was like jasperts and carnelians in appearance, and a rainbow looking like it was made of emeraldt encircled the throne.4 Int a circle around the throne were twenty-four other thrones, and seated on those thrones were twenty-four elders. They weret dressed in white clothing and had golden crownss on their heads.5 Fromt the throne came out flashes of lightning and roaringt and crashes of thunder. Seven flaming torches, which are the seven spirits of God,s were burning in front of the throne

6 and in front of the throne was something like a sea of glass, like crystal.t
Int the middle of the thronet and around the throne were four living creaturest full of eyes in front and in back.7 Thet first living creature was like a lion, thet second creature like an ox, the third creature had a face like a man’s, and the fourth creature looked like an eagle flying.

8 Each one of the four living creatures had six wingst and was full of eyes all around and inside.t They never rest day or night, saying:t
“Holy Holy Holy is the Lord God, the All-Powerful,ts
Who was and who is, and who is still to come!”
9 And whenever the living creatures give glory, honor,t and thanks to the one who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever,

10 the twenty-four elders throw themselves to the groundt before the one who sits on the throne and worship the one who lives forever and ever, and they offer their crownss before hist throne, saying:

11 “You are worthy, our Lord and God,
to receive glory and honor and power,
since you created all things,
and because of your will they existed and were created!”s
