مکاشفه 4

1 بعد از این دیدم که ناگاه دروازهای درآسمان باز شده است و آن آواز اول را که شنیده بودم که چون کرنا با من سخن میگفت، دیگرباره میگوید: «به اینجا صعود نما تا اموری را که بعد از این باید واقع شود به تو بنمایم.»2 فی الفور در روح شدم و دیدم که تختی درآسمان قائم است و بر آن تختنشینندهای.3 وآن نشیننده، در صورت، مانند سنگ یشم و عقیق است و قوس قزحی در گرد تخت که به منظرشباهت به زمرد دارد4 و گرداگرد تخت، بیست وچهار تخت است؛ و بر آن تختها بیست و چهارپیر که جامهای سفید در بر دارند نشسته دیدم و برسر ایشان تاجهای زرین.5 و از تخت، برقها وصداها و رعدها برمی آید؛ و هفت چراغ آتشین پیش تخت افروخته که هفت روح خدا میباشند.6 و درپیش تخت، دریایی از شیشه مانند بلور ودر میان تخت و گرداگرد تخت چهار حیوان که ازپیش و پس به چشمان پر هستند.7 و حیوان اول مانند شیر بود؛ و حیوان دوم مانند گوساله؛ وحیوان سوم صورتی مانند انسان داشت؛ و حیوان چهارم مانند عقاب پرنده.8 و آن چهار حیوان که هر یکی از آنها شش بال دارد، گرداگرد و درون به چشمان پر هستند وشبانهروز باز نمی ایستند از گفتن «قدوس قدوس قدوس، خداوند خدای قادر مطلق که بود وهست و میآید.»9 و چون آن حیوانات جلال وتکریم و سپاس به آن تختنشینی که تا ابدالابادزنده است میخوانند،10 آنگاه آن بیست و چهار پیر میافتند در حضور آن تختنشین و او را که تاابدالاباد زنده است عبادت میکنند و تاجهای خود را پیش تخت انداخته، میگویند:11 «ای خداوند، مستحقی که جلال و اکرام و قوت رابیابی، زیرا که تو همه موجودات را آفریدهای ومحض اراده تو بودند و آفریده شدند.»

REVELATION 4

Worship in Heaven

1 After this, I looked and saw a door that opened into heaven. Then the voice that had spoken to me at first and that sounded like a trumpet said, “Come up here! I will show you what must happen next.” 2 t Right then the Spirit took control of me, and there in heaven I saw a throne and someone sitting on it.

3 The one who was sitting there sparkled like precious stones of jaspert and carnelian.t A rainbow that looked like an emeraldt surrounded the throne.
4 Twenty-four other thrones were in a circle around that throne. And on each of these thrones there was an elder dressed in white clothes and wearing a gold crown. 5 t Flashes of lightning and roars of thunder came out from the throne in the center of the circle. Seven torches, which are the seven spirits of God, were burning in front of the throne.

6 t t Also in front of the throne was something that looked like a glass sea, clear as crystal.
Around the throne in the center were four living creatures covered front and back with eyes. 7 The first creature was like a lion, the second one was like a bull, the third one had the face of a human, and the fourth was like a flying eagle.

8 t Each of the four living creatures had six wings, and their bodies were covered with eyes. Day and night they never stopped singing,
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord,
the all-powerful God,
who was and is
and is coming!”
9 The living creatures kept praising, honoring, and thanking the one who sits on the throne and who lives forever and ever.

10 At the same time the 24 elders knelt down before the one sitting on the throne. And as they worshiped the one who lives forever, they placed their crowns in front of the throne and said,

11  t “Our Lord and God,
you are worthy
to receive glory,
honor, and power.
You created all things,
and by your decision they are
and were created.”
