การนมัสการในสวรรค์
1 หลังจากนั้นข้าพเจ้าเห็นประตูที่เปิดอ้าอยู่ในสวรรค์ และพระสุรเสียงแรกที่ข้าพเจ้าได้ยินนั้น ตรัสกับข้าพเจ้าเหมือนอย่างเสียงแตรว่า “จงขึ้นมาบนนี้เถิด และเราจะสำแดงให้เจ้าเห็นสิ่งที่จะต้องเกิดขึ้นหลังจากนี้” 2 ในทันใดนั้น พระวิญญาณก็ทรงดลใจข้าพเจ้า และนี่แน่ะ มีพระที่นั่งตั้งอยู่ในสวรรค์และมีท่านผู้หนึ่งประทับบนพระที่นั่งนั้น 3 และท่านที่ประทับบนพระที่นั่งนั้นปรากฏเหมือนแจสเพอร์และคาร์เนเลียน และมีรุ้งรอบๆ พระที่นั่งนั้น ปรากฏเหมือนมรกตt 4 และรอบพระที่นั่งนั้นมีบัลลังก์อีกยี่สิบสี่บัลลังก์ มีผู้อาวุโสยี่สิบสี่คนนั่งอยู่บนบัลลังก์เหล่านั้น ทุกคนสวมเสื้อผ้าสีขาวและสวมมงกุฎทองคำบนศีรษะของพวกเขา 5 และมีฟ้าแลบ เสียงครืนๆ และฟ้าร้องt ดังออกมาจากพระที่นั่งนั้น และมีคบเพลิงtเจ็ดอันจุดอยู่ตรงหน้าพระที่นั่ง คบเพลิงเหล่านั้นคือพระวิญญาณทั้งเจ็ดของพระเจ้าt 6 และตรงหน้าพระที่นั่งนั้นเป็นเหมือนอย่างทะเลแก้วที่ใสเหมือนแก้วผลึกt และบริเวณรอบพระที่นั่งทั้งสองข้างนั้น มีสิ่งมีชีวิตสี่ตนtที่มีตาเต็มทั้งข้างหน้าและข้างหลัง 7 สิ่งมีชีวิตที่หนึ่งนั้นเหมือนสิงโต สิ่งมีชีวิตที่สองนั้นเหมือนโค สิ่งมีชีวิตที่สามนั้นมีหน้าเหมือนอย่างมนุษย์ และสิ่งมีชีวิตที่สี่เหมือนนกอินทรีที่บินอยู่ 8 สิ่งมีชีวิตทั้งสี่นั้น แต่ละตนมีปีกหกปีก และมีตาอยู่รอบๆ และข้างในเต็มไปหมดt และพวกเขาร้องตลอดวันตลอดคืนไม่ได้หยุดเลยว่า “บริสุทธิ์ บริสุทธิ์ บริสุทธิ์ องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าคือพระเจ้าผู้ทรงฤทธานุภาพสูงสุดt ผู้ทรงเคยเป็นอยู่ ผู้ทรงเป็นอยู่ และผู้ที่จะเสด็จมา”
9 เมื่อใดก็ตามที่สิ่งมีชีวิตเหล่านั้นถวายพระสิริ พระเกียรติ และคำขอบพระคุณแด่พระองค์ผู้ประทับบนพระที่นั่ง และผู้ทรงพระชนม์อยู่ตลอดไปเป็นนิตย์นั้น 10 ผู้อาวุโสทั้งยี่สิบสี่ท่านก็ทรุดตัวลงเฉพาะพระพักตร์พระองค์ผู้ประทับบนพระที่นั่งนั้น และนมัสการพระองค์ผู้ทรงพระชนม์อยู่ตลอดไปเป็นนิตย์ และถอดมงกุฎออกวางตรงหน้าพระที่นั่งร้องว่า 11 “องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าและพระเจ้าของข้าพระองค์ทั้งหลาย พระองค์ทรงสมควรที่จะได้รับพระสิริ พระเกียรติและฤทธานุภาพ เพราะว่าพระองค์ทรงสร้างสรรพสิ่ง และสรรพสิ่งก็ดำรงอยู่และถูกสร้างขึ้นตามพระประสงค์ของพระองค์”
REVELATION 4
Worship in Heaven
1 After this, I looked and saw a door that opened into heaven. Then the voice that had spoken to me at first and that sounded like a trumpet said, “Come up here! I will show you what must happen next.” 2 t Right then the Spirit took control of me, and there in heaven I saw a throne and someone sitting on it.
3 The one who was sitting there sparkled like precious stones of jaspert and carnelian.t A rainbow that looked like an emeraldt surrounded the throne.
4 Twenty-four other thrones were in a circle around that throne. And on each of these thrones there was an elder dressed in white clothes and wearing a gold crown. 5 t Flashes of lightning and roars of thunder came out from the throne in the center of the circle. Seven torches, which are the seven spirits of God, were burning in front of the throne.
6 t t Also in front of the throne was something that looked like a glass sea, clear as crystal.
Around the throne in the center were four living creatures covered front and back with eyes. 7 The first creature was like a lion, the second one was like a bull, the third one had the face of a human, and the fourth was like a flying eagle.
8 t Each of the four living creatures had six wings, and their bodies were covered with eyes. Day and night they never stopped singing,
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord,
the all-powerful God,
who was and is
and is coming!”
9 The living creatures kept praising, honoring, and thanking the one who sits on the throne and who lives forever and ever.
10 At the same time the 24 elders knelt down before the one sitting on the throne. And as they worshiped the one who lives forever, they placed their crowns in front of the throne and said,
11 t “Our Lord and God,
you are worthy
to receive glory,
honor, and power.
You created all things,
and by your decision they are
and were created.”
