1 หลังจากนั้นข้าพเจ้ามองไปเห็นประตูหนึ่งเปิดไว้ในสวรรค์ต่อหน้าข้าพเจ้า และพระสุรเสียงคล้ายเสียงแตรซึ่งข้าพเจ้าได้ยินเมื่อตอนต้นนั้นตรัสแก่ข้าพเจ้าว่า " ขึ้นมาที่นี่เถิด เราจะสำแดงสิ่งที่ต้องเกิดขึ้นหลังจากนี้แก่เจ้า "2 ทันใดนั้นข้าพเจ้าก็อยู่ในพระวิญญาณและตรงหน้าข้าพเจ้ามีพระที่นั่งตั้งอยู่ในสวรรค์ มีผู้หนึ่งประทับบนพระที่นั่งนั้น3 ผู้ประทับอยู่นั้นทรงโอ่อ่าตระการตาดั่งเพชรนิลจินดา สายรุ้งดุจมรกตล้อมรอบพระที่นั่ง4 รายรอบพระที่นั่งนั้นมีอีกยี่สิบสี่ที่นั่งซึ่งมีผู้อาวุโสยี่สิบสี่คนนั่งอยู่ ทุกคนนุ่งห่มขาว สวมมงกุฎทองคำบนศีรษะ5 มีฟ้าแลบแวบวาบ เสียงฟ้าคำรนครืนๆ จากพระที่นั่งนั้น ตรงหน้าพระที่นั่งมีคบเพลิงเจ็ดอันลุกโชติช่วงอยู่คือวิญญาณทั้งเจ็ด t ของพระเจ้า

6 และหน้าพระที่นั่งมีสิ่งซึ่งคล้ายทะเลแก้วใสเหมือนแก้วผลึก
บริเวณตรงกลางรอบพระที่นั่งมีสิ่งมีชีวิตสี่ตนซึ่งมีดวงตาเต็มไปหมดทั้งด้านหน้าและด้านหลัง7 ตนแรกคล้ายสิงโต ตนที่สองคล้ายวัว ตนที่สามมีใบหน้าคล้ายคน ตนที่สี่คล้ายนกอินทรีที่กำลังบิน

8 สิ่งมีชีวิตทั้งสี่นี้ แต่ละตนมีหกปีกและมีดวงตาทั่วไปหมดแม้แต่ใต้ปีก ต่างร้องขานทั้งวันทั้งคืนไม่หยุดว่า
" บริสุทธิ์ บริสุทธิ์ บริสุทธิ์
คือองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าผู้ทรงฤทธิ์
ผู้ทรงดำรงอยู่ในอดีตและดำรงอยู่ในปัจจุบัน
และจะเสด็จมา "
9 ทุกครั้งที่สิ่งมีชีวิตทั้งสี่ถวายพระสิริ พระเกียรติ และคำขอบพระคุณแด่พระองค์ผู้ประทับบนพระที่นั่ง ผู้ทรงดำรงอยู่ตลอดกาล

10 ผู้อาวุโสทั้งยี่สิบสี่คนก็หมอบกราบพระองค์ผู้ประทับบนพระที่นั่งนั้น นมัสการพระองค์ผู้ทรงดำรงอยู่ตลอดกาล พวกเขาวางมงกุฎของตนลงหน้าพระที่นั่งนั้นและทูลว่า

11 " ข้าแต่องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าและพระเจ้าของเรา
พระองค์ทรงสมควรที่จะรับพระสิริ
พระเกียรติและเดชานุภาพ
เพราะพระองค์ได้ทรงสร้างสรรพสิ่ง
และโดยพระดำริของพระองค์ สิ่งเหล่านี้ได้ถูกสร้างขึ้น

REVELATION 4

Worship in Heaven

1 After this, I looked and saw a door that opened into heaven. Then the voice that had spoken to me at first and that sounded like a trumpet said, “Come up here! I will show you what must happen next.” 2 t Right then the Spirit took control of me, and there in heaven I saw a throne and someone sitting on it.

3 The one who was sitting there sparkled like precious stones of jaspert and carnelian.t A rainbow that looked like an emeraldt surrounded the throne.
4 Twenty-four other thrones were in a circle around that throne. And on each of these thrones there was an elder dressed in white clothes and wearing a gold crown. 5 t Flashes of lightning and roars of thunder came out from the throne in the center of the circle. Seven torches, which are the seven spirits of God, were burning in front of the throne.

6 t t Also in front of the throne was something that looked like a glass sea, clear as crystal.
Around the throne in the center were four living creatures covered front and back with eyes. 7 The first creature was like a lion, the second one was like a bull, the third one had the face of a human, and the fourth was like a flying eagle.

8 t Each of the four living creatures had six wings, and their bodies were covered with eyes. Day and night they never stopped singing,
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord,
the all-powerful God,
who was and is
and is coming!”
9 The living creatures kept praising, honoring, and thanking the one who sits on the throne and who lives forever and ever.

10 At the same time the 24 elders knelt down before the one sitting on the throne. And as they worshiped the one who lives forever, they placed their crowns in front of the throne and said,

11  t “Our Lord and God,
you are worthy
to receive glory,
honor, and power.
You created all things,
and by your decision they are
and were created.”
