پرستش در عالم بالا
1 پس از آن نگاه كردم و در آسمان دری گشاده دیدم و همان صدایی كه من در آغاز شنیده بودم، مانند شیپوری به من گفت: «بالا بیا، من آنچه را كه باید بعد از این رُخ دهد به تو نشان خواهم داد.» 2 روح خدا مرا فراگرفت و دیدم كه در آسمان تختی قرار داشت و بر روی آن تخت كسی نشسته بود 3 كه مانند یشم و عقیق میدرخشید و در گرداگرد تخت رنگینكمانی بود، به درخشندگی زُمرّد. 4 در پیرامون این تخت بیست و چهار تخت دیگر بود و روی آنها بیست و چهار پیر نشسته بودند. آنها لباس سفید به تن و تاج زرّین بر سر داشتند. 5 از آن تخت برق ساطع میشد و غرّش و رعد شنیده میشد. در جلوی تخت، هفت مشعل سوزان میسوخت. اینها هفت روح خدا هستند. 6 و همچنین در برابر تخت چیزی كه مانند دریای شیشه یا بلور بود دیده میشد. در اطراف و در چهار گوشهٔ تخت، چهار حیوان قرار داشت كه بدن آنها از هر طرف پر از چشم بود. 7 حیوان اول مانند شیر بود، دومی مانند گوساله، سومی صورتی مانند صورت انسان داشت و چهارمی مانند عقابی پر گشوده بود.
8 هر یک از این چهار حیوان شش بال داشت و بدن آنها از هر طرف پر از چشم بود و شب و روز دایماً میگفتند:
«قدّوس، قدّوس، قدّوس، خداوند، خدای قادر مطلق
كه بود و هست و خواهد آمد.»
9 هر وقت این حیوانات آن تختنشین را كه تا ابد زنده است، تجلیل و تكریم و تمجید میکنند،
10 آن بیست و چهار پیر در برابر تختنشین كه تا ابد زنده است سجده میکنند و او را میپرستند و تاجهای خود را در جلوی تخت او میاندازند و فریاد میزنند:
11 «ای خداوند و خدای ما، تو تنها شایستهای
كه صاحب جلال و حرمت و قدرت باشی،
زیرا تو همهچیز را آفریدی
و به ارادهٔ تو، آنها هستی و حیات یافتند.»
REVELATION 4
Worship in Heaven
1 After this, I looked and saw a door that opened into heaven. Then the voice that had spoken to me at first and that sounded like a trumpet said, “Come up here! I will show you what must happen next.” 2 t Right then the Spirit took control of me, and there in heaven I saw a throne and someone sitting on it.
3 The one who was sitting there sparkled like precious stones of jaspert and carnelian.t A rainbow that looked like an emeraldt surrounded the throne.
4 Twenty-four other thrones were in a circle around that throne. And on each of these thrones there was an elder dressed in white clothes and wearing a gold crown. 5 t Flashes of lightning and roars of thunder came out from the throne in the center of the circle. Seven torches, which are the seven spirits of God, were burning in front of the throne.
6 t t Also in front of the throne was something that looked like a glass sea, clear as crystal.
Around the throne in the center were four living creatures covered front and back with eyes. 7 The first creature was like a lion, the second one was like a bull, the third one had the face of a human, and the fourth was like a flying eagle.
8 t Each of the four living creatures had six wings, and their bodies were covered with eyes. Day and night they never stopped singing,
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord,
the all-powerful God,
who was and is
and is coming!”
9 The living creatures kept praising, honoring, and thanking the one who sits on the throne and who lives forever and ever.
10 At the same time the 24 elders knelt down before the one sitting on the throne. And as they worshiped the one who lives forever, they placed their crowns in front of the throne and said,
11 t “Our Lord and God,
you are worthy
to receive glory,
honor, and power.
You created all things,
and by your decision they are
and were created.”
