1 ای برادران خوشی دل من و دعای من نزد خدا بجهت اسرائیل برای نجات ایشان است.2 زیرا بجهت ایشان شهادت میدهم که برای خدا غیرت دارند لکن نه از روی معرفت.3 زیرا که چون عدالت خدا را نشناخته، میخواستند عدالت خود را ثابت کنند، مطیع عدالت خدا نگشتند.4 زیرا که مسیح است انجام شریعت بجهت عدالت برای هر کس که ایمان آورد.5 زیرا موسی عدالت شریعت را بیان میکندکه «هرکه به این عمل کند، در این خواهدزیست.»6 لکن عدالت ایمان بدینطور سخن میگوید که «در خاطر خود مگو کیست که به آسمان صعود کند یعنی تا مسیح را فرود آورد،7 یا کیست که به هاویه نزول کند یعنی تا مسیح رااز مردگان برآورد.»8 لکن چه میگوید؟ اینکه «کلام نزد تو و در دهانت و در قلب تو است یعنیاین کلام ایمان که به آن وعظ میکنیم.»9 زیرا اگربه زبان خود عیسی خداوند را اعتراف کنی و دردل خود ایمان آوری که خدا او را از مردگان برخیزانید، نجات خواهی یافت.10 چونکه به دل ایمان آورده میشود برای عدالت و به زبان اعتراف میشود بجهت نجات.11 و کتاب میگوید «هرکه به او ایمان آورد خجل نخواهدشد.»12 زیرا که در یهود و یونانی تفاوتی نیست که همان خداوند، خداوند همه است و دولتمنداست برای همه که نام او را میخوانند.13 زیرا هرکه نام خداوند را بخواند نجات خواهد یافت.14 پس چگونه بخوانند کسی را که به او ایمان نیاوردهاند؟ و چگونه ایمان آورند به کسیکه خبراو را نشنیدهاند؟ و چگونه بشنوند بدون واعظ؟15 و چگونه وعظ کنند جز اینکه فرستاده شوند؟ چنانکه مکتوب است که «چه زیبا است پایهای آنانی که به سلامتی بشارت میدهند و به چیزهای نیکو مژده میدهند.»16 لکن همه بشارت را گوش نگرفتند زیرا اشعیا میگوید «خداوندا کیست که اخبار ما را باور کرد؟»17 لهذا ایمان از شنیدن است و شنیدن از کلام خدا.18 لکن میگویم آیانشنیدند؟ البته شنیدند: «صوت ایشان در تمام جهان منتشر گردید و کلام ایشان تا اقصای ربع مسکون رسید.»19 و میگویم آیا اسرائیل ندانستهاند؟ اول موسی میگوید: «من شما را به غیرت میآورم به آن که امتی نیست و بر قوم بیفهم شما را خشمگین خواهم ساخت.»20 واشعیا نیز جرات کرده، میگوید: آنانی که طالب من نبودند مرا یافتند و به کسانی که مرا نطلبیدندظاهر گردیدم.»21 اما در حق اسرائیل میگوید: «تمام روز دستهای خود را دراز کردم به سوی قومی نامطیع و مخالف.»
ROMANS 10
1 Dear friends, my greatest wish and my prayer to God is for the people of Israel to be saved. 2 I know they love God, but they don't understand 3 what makes people acceptable to him. So they refuse to trust God, and they try to be acceptable by obeying the Law.
4 But Christ makes the Law no longer necessaryt for those who become acceptable to God by faith.Anyone Can Be Saved
5 t Moses said a person could become acceptable to God by obeying the Law. He did this when he wrote, “If you want to live, you must do all the Law commands.”
6 t But people whose faith makes them acceptable to God will never ask, “Who will go up to heaven to bring Christ down?”
7 Neither will they ask, “Who will go down into the world of the dead to raise him to life?”
8 All who are acceptable because of their faith simply say, “The message is as near as your mouth or your heart.” And this is the same message we preach about faith. 9 So you will be saved, if you honestly say, “Jesus is Lord,” and if you believe with all your heart that God raised him from death.
10 God will accept you and save you, if you truly believe this and tell it to others.
11 t The Scriptures say no one who has faith will be disappointed, 12 no matter if that person is a Jew or a Gentile. There is only one Lord, and he is generous to everyone who asks for his help.
13 t All who call out to the Lord will be saved.
14 How can people have faith in the Lord and ask him to save them, if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear, unless someone tells them? 15 t And how can anyone tell them without being sent by the Lord? The Scriptures say it is a beautiful sight to see even the feet of someone coming to preach the good news.
16 t Yet not everyone has believed the message. For example, the prophet Isaiah asked, “Lord, has anyone believed what we said?”
17 No one can have faith without hearing the message about Christ.
18 t But am I saying that the people of Israel did not hear? No, I am not! The Scriptures say,
“The message was told
everywhere on earth.
It was announced
all over the world.”
19 t Did the people of Israel understand or not? Moses answered this question when he told that the Lord had said,
“I will make Israel jealous
of people
who are a nation
of nobodies.
I will make them angry
with people
who don't understand
a thing.”
20 t Isaiah was fearless enough to tell that the Lord had said,
“I was found by people
who were not looking
for me.
I appeared to the ones
who were not asking
about me.”
21 t And Isaiah said about the people of Israel,
“All day long the Lord
has reached out
to people who are stubborn
and refuse to obey.”
