VARHOMA 13

Ta ku yingisa vuhosi

1 Munhu un'wana ni un'wana a a tiveke ehansi ka tihosi, hikuva a ku na vuhosi lebyi nga humiki eka Xikwembu; kutani tihosi leti nga kona, ti vekiwile hi Xikwembu. 2 Hikwalaho loyi a solaka vuhosi, ú sola ku lerisa ka Xikwembu; kutani lava solaka, va tivangela ku avanyisiwa. 3 Tihosi i valala ku nga ri eka lava endlaka leswinene, kambe eka lava endlaka leswo biha. Xana u lava ku hanya u nga chavi emahlweni ka hosi xana? Endla leswinene, yi ta ku nkhensa; 4 hikuva hosi i nandza wa Xikwembu ku ku pfuna. Kambe loko u endla leswo biha, u fanele ku chava, hikuva hosi a yi lo halahala ku tamela banga; yi rhumiwile hi Xikwembu ku va murihiseti la baka mudyohi.

5 Hikwalaho swa fanela leswaku munhu a tiveka ehansi ka vuhosi, ku nga ri ntsena hikwalaho ka ku chava ku biwa, kambe ku ri hikwalaho ka ripfalo.
6  tNakambe hi swona leswi endlaka leswaku mi humesa ndzuvo; hikuva tihosi i vatirhi va Xikwembu, lava tinyiketaka ku tirha ntirho wolowo.

7 Humeselani hinkwavo tifanelo ta vona; loyi a fanelaka ku amukela ndzuvo, n'wi nyikeni; loyi a fanelaka ku luviwa, n'wi luveni; loyi a fanelaka ku chaviwa, n'wi chaveni; loyi a fanelaka ku xiximiwa, n'wi xiximeni.

8 Mi nga tshuki mi va ni nandzu eka munhu na un'we, loko wu nga ri wa ku rhandzana; hikuva, la rhandzaka van'wana, ú hetisisile Nawu. 9 tHakunene milawu leyi nge: “U nga tshuki u oswa, u nga tshuki u dlaya, u nga tshuki u yiva, u nga tshuki u navela swa van'wana”, hambi yi ri milawu yin'wana hinkwayo, yi katsakanyiwa hi rito leri nge: “Rhandza munhu-kuloni kukota loko u tirhandza.”

10 La nga ni rirhandzu, a nga endleli munhu-kulobye swo biha. Hikokwalaho, rirhandzu ri hetisisa Nawu.

11 Endlani leswi, hikuva mi tiva leswaku i nkarhi wihi sweswi: Hi wona nkarhi wa n'wina wa ku pfuka evurhongweni; hikuva namuntlha, ku ponisiwa ku kusuhi ku tlula siku hi pfumeleke. 12 Vusiku byi hundzile, dyambu ri lava ku huma. Hikokwalaho, a hi cukumeteni mintirho ya munyama, kutani hi hakarha matlhari ya ku vonakala. 13 A hi fambeni hi mukhuva lowu fanelaka, kukotisa vanhu lava fambaka ni nhlekanhi, ku nga ri hi makampfu ni ku pyopyiwa, ku nga ri hi swa manyala ni vuoswi, ku nga ri hi timholovo ni mavondzo; 14 kambe mi ambala Hosi Yesu Kriste, kutani mi nga tsetseleri swa ntumbuluko wa n'wina wa laha misaveni, hi ku wu kolwisa eku naveleni ka wona.

Romans 13

1 Let every soul be in subjection to the higher powers: for there is no power but of God; and the powers that be are ordained of God.2 Therefore he that resisteth the power, withstandeth the ordinance of God: and they that withstand shall receive to themselves judgment.3 For rulers are not a terror to the good work, but to the evil. And wouldest thou have no fear of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise from the same:4 for he is a minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is a minister of God, an avenger for wrath to him that doeth evil.5 Wherefore ye must needs be in subjection, not only because of the wrath, but also for conscience’ sake.6 For this cause ye pay tribute also; for they are ministers of God’s service, attending continually upon this very thing.7 Render to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor.8 Owe no man anything, save to love one another: for he that loveth his neighbor hath fulfilled the law.9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not covet, and if there be any other commandment, it is summed up in this word, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbor: love therefore is the fulfilment of the law.11 And this, knowing the season, that already it is time for you to awake out of sleep: for now is salvation nearer to us than when we first believed.12 The night is far spent, and the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.13 Let us walk becomingly, as in the day; not in revelling and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and jealousy.14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
