1 ให้_ทุก_คน_ยอม_เชื่อ_ฟัง_ผู้_มี_อำนาจ_ของ_รัฐบาล เพราะ_อำนาจ_ทุก_อย่าง_มา_จาก_พระเจ้า และ_พระเจ้า_เอง_เป็น_ผู้ที่_แต่ง_ตั้ง_ผู้_มี_อำนาจ_เหล่า_นั้น

2 ถ้า_อย่าง_นั้น คน_ที่_ขัด_ขืน_ต่อ_อำนาจ_นั้น ก็_เท่า_กับ_ขัด_ขืน_คำ_สั่ง_ของ_พระเจ้า และ_คน_ที่_ขัด_ขืน_คำ_สั่ง_ของ_พระเจ้า ก็_จะ_ต้อง_ถูก_ลงโทษ

3 คน_ที่_ทำ_ดี_ไม่_กลัว_ผู้_มี_อำนาจ_พวก_นั้น_หรอก มี_แต่_คน_ที่_ทำ_ชั่ว_เท่า_นั้น_ที่_กลัว ถ้า_คุณ_ไม่_อยาก_กลัว_ผู้_มี_อำนาจ_พวก_นั้น_ก็_ให้_ทำ_ดี แล้ว_พวก_เขา_จะ_ได้_ชม_เชย_พวก_คุณ

4 เพราะ_พวก_เขา_เป็น_ผู้รับใช้_ของ_พระเจ้า_ที่_มา_ทำ_งาน_ช่วย_พวก_คุณ แต่_ถ้า_คุณ_ทำ_เรื่อง_ชั่วๆ_ก็_ให้_กลัว_ไว้ เพราะ_เขา_ไม่_ได้_ถือ_ดาบ_เอา_ไว้_ขู่_เฉยๆ_เขา_เป็น_ผู้รับใช้_ของ_พระเจ้า เป็น_ผู้แก้_แค้นแทน_พระเจ้า เพื่อ_ลงโทษ_คน_ที่_ทำ_ชั่ว

5 ดัง_นั้น จึง_จำเป็น_ที่_จะ_ต้อง_เชื่อ_ฟัง_รัฐบาล ไม่_ใช่_เพราะ_กลัว_ถูก_ลงโทษ_เท่า_นั้น แต่_เพื่อ_ใจ_จะ_ไม่_ฟ้อง_ตัวเอง_ว่า_ผิด

6 นี่_เป็น_เหตุ_ที่_คุณ_ต้อง_เสีย_ภาษี เพราะ_ผู้_มี_อำนาจ_พวก_นี้_เป็น_คน_รับใช้_ของ_พระเจ้า ที่_ดูแล_เรื่อง_เหล่า_นี้_เสมอ

7 คุณ_เป็น_หนี้_อะไร_กับ_ใคร ก็_ให้_จ่าย_คืน_เขา_ไป เป็น_หนี้_ส่วย_สา_อากร ก็_ให้_จ่าย_ส่วย_สา_อากร เป็น_หนี้_ภาษี ก็_ให้_จ่าย_ภาษี คุณ_ต้อง_ยำเกรง_ใคร ก็_ให้_ยำเกรง_คน_นั้น คุณ_ต้อง_ให้_เกียรติ_ใคร ก็_ให้_เกียรติ_คน_นั้น

หัวใจ_ของ_กฎ_คือ_การ_รัก_ผู้_อื่น

8 อย่า_เป็น_หนี้_อะไร_กับ_ใคร_เลย นอก_จาก_หนี้_รัก_ที่_มี_ต่อ_กัน_และ_กัน เพราะ_คน_ที่รัก_คน_อื่น_ก็_ถือ_ว่า_ได้_ทำ_ตาม_กฎ ครบ_ถ้วน_แล้ว

9 ที่_ผม_พูด_อย่าง_นี้ เพราะ_ใน_กฎ_บัญญัติ_มี_คำ_สั่ง_มาก_มาย_เช่น อย่า_เป็น_ชู้ อย่า_ฆ่า_คน อย่า_ขโมย อย่า_โลภt และ_ยัง_มี_คำ_สั่ง_อื่นๆ_อีก แต่_ทั้ง_หมด_นั้น_ก็_สรุป_ได้_ว่า ให้_รัก_เพื่อน_บ้าน_เหมือน_รัก_ตน_เองt

10 ความ_รัก_ไม่_ทำร้าย_เพื่อน_บ้าน เป็น_เหตุ_ที่_ว่า ถ้า_มี_ความ_รัก_ก็_ถือ_ว่า_ได้_ทำ_ตาม_กฎ_ครบ_ถ้วน_แล้ว

11 ให้_ทำ_อย่าง_ที่_บอก_นี้ เพราะ_ถึง_เวลา_ตื่น_ได้_แล้ว ความ_รอด_ของ_เรา_นั้น_ได้_เข้า_มา_ใกล้_มาก_ยิ่งกว่า_ตอน_ที่_เรา_เพิ่ง_ไว้วางใจ_ใหม่ๆ

12 กลาง_คืนt ใกล้_จะ_ผ่าน_ไป ตอน_เช้าt ใกล้_จะ_มา_แล้ว ดัง_นั้น_ขอ_ให้_เรา_เลิก_ทำ_ใน_สิ่ง_ที่_เป็น_ของ_ความ_มืด และ_ให้_สวม_อาวุธ_ที่_เป็น_ของ_ความ_สว่าง

13 ทำ_ตัว_ให้_น่า_นับถือ_เหมือน_คน_ที่_ใช้_ชีวิต_อยู่_ใน_กลาง_วัน ไม่_เที่ยว_มั่วสุม ไม่_เสพ_สุรา_เมามาย ไม่_ทำ_ผิด_ทาง_เพศ ไม่_มักมาก_ใน_กาม ไม่_ทะเลาะ_วิวาท_และ_ไม่_อิจฉา_ริษยา

14 แต่_ให้_สวม_ใส่_พระ_เยซู_คริสต_เจ้า และ_อย่า_ให้_ความ_สนใจ_กับ_กิเลส_ตัณหา_ที่_มา_จาก_สันดาน_เลย

Romans 13

Be Subject to Government

1 Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God.2 Therefore whoever resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves.3 For rulers are not a cause of fear for good behavior, but for evil. Do you want to have no fear of authority? Do what is good and you will have praise from the same;4 for it is a minister of God to you for good. But if you do what is evil, be afraid; for it does not bear the sword for nothing; for it is a minister of God, an avenger who brings wrath on the one who practices evil.5 Therefore it is necessary to be in subjection, not only because of wrath, but also for conscience' sake.6 For because of this you also pay taxes, for rulers are servants of God, devoting themselves to this very thing.7 Render to all what is due them: tax to whom tax is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor.

8 Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.9 For this, "YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY, YOU SHALL NOT MURDER, YOU SHALL NOT STEAL, YOU SHALL NOT COVET," and if there is any other commandment, it is summed up in this saying, "YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF."10 Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

11  Do this, knowing the time, that it is already the hour for you to awaken from sleep; for now tsalvation is nearer to us than when we believed.12 The night is almost gone, and the day is near. Therefore let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.13 Let us behave properly as in the day, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual promiscuity and sensuality, not in strife and jealousy.14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh in regard to its lusts.
