ROMA 15

Magpasunaid Kita sa mga Maluya

1  Kita nga mga malig-on sa pagtuo dapat magpasunaid kag magbulig sa aton mga kaupod nga maluya pa. Indi lang ang aton gusto ang aton hunahunaon,2 kundi hunahunaon ta man ang kaayuhan sang kapareho naton nga tumuluo, agod mapalig-on ang iya pagtuo.3  Bisan gani si Cristo wala naghandom sang iya kaugalingon nga kaayuhan. Kundi suno sa ginasiling sang Kasulatan, + 3 Salmo 69:9.

4  Ang tanan nga ginsulat sa Kasulatan sang una ginsulat sa pagtudlo sa aton. Paagi sa Kasulatan, ginatudluan kita nga batason ta ang mga kalisod, kag paagi man sa sini ginapalig-on ang aton paglaom nga maayo ang aton palaabuton .
5  Kabay pa nga ang Dios nga nagapabakod sa aton kag nagahatag sa aton sang pagbatas sa mga kabudlayan magabulig sa inyo nga mag-isa kamo bilang mga sumulunod ni Cristo Jesus,

6 agod magtingob kamo sa pagdayaw sa Dios kag Amay sang aton Ginoong Jesu-Cristo.

Ang Maayong Balita Para sa mga Indi Judio

7 Ginbaton kamo ni Cristo, gani batuna man ninyo ang isa kag isa agod madayaw ang Dios.8 Ang kabangdanan kon ngaa ginsugo si Jesus sa pag-alagad sa mga Judio indi lang sa pagpakita nga ang Dios masaligan sa pagtuman sang iya mga promisa sang una sa ila mga katigulangan,

9 kundi sa pagpakita man sa mga indi Judio sang kaluoy sang Dios, agod magdayaw man sila sa Dios. Kay nagasiling ang Kasulatan,

10 May nasulat man sa Kasulatan nga nagasiling,

11 Kag nagasiling pa gid,

12 Nagsiling man si Isaias,

13 Kabay pa nga ang Dios nga nagahatag sang paglaom maghatag man sa inyo sang kalipay kag kalinong tungod sang inyo pagtuo sa iya, agod paagi sa gahom sang Espiritu Santo magadugang pa gid ang inyo paglaom.

Ang Kabangdanan sang Pagsulat Sini ni Pablo

14 Mga utod, nasiguro ko gid nga maayo kamo nga mga tawo. Nasiguro ko man nga madamo na ang inyo nahibaluan, kag sarang na kamo makalaygay sa isa kag isa.15 Pero nagsulat gihapon ako sa inyo nga wala sing lipod-lipod parte sa pila ka butang nga dapat ipadumdom sa inyo, kay nabaton ko ang bugay sang Dios16 nga mangin alagad ni Cristo Jesus para sa mga indi Judio. Nagaalagad ako sa ila bilang pari kag ginatudlo ko sa ila ang Maayong Balita halin sa Dios agod mangin halad sila nga iya maluyagan, nga mangin iya paagi sa Espiritu Santo.17 Kag tungod nga ako ara kay Cristo Jesus, sarang ako makapabugal sang akon nahimo sa pag-alagad sa Dios.18 Kag wala ako sing iban nga ipabugal kundi ang mga ginhimo ni Cristo paagi sa akon, nga ang mga indi Judio nagasunod na sa iya paagi sa akon mga pagtudlo kag mga hinimuan,19  sa bulig sang mga milagro kag makatilingala nga mga butang--kag ini tanan paagi sa gahom sang Espiritu Santo . Ang Maayong Balita parte kay Cristo ginwali ko bisan diin ako nagkadto, kag naglibot pa gani ako halin sa Jerusalem hasta sa Iliricum.20 Handom ko gid nga magwali sa mga lugar nga ang mga tawo wala pa makabati sang Maayong Balita parte kay Cristo, tungod kay indi ko gusto nga magwali sa mga lugar nga nawalihan na sang iban.

21 Pareho sang ginasiling sang Kasulatan,

Ang Plano ni Pablo nga Magkadto sa Roma

22  Gani wala pa ako makaabot dira sa inyo tungod nga naglibot ako sa mga banwa diri .23 Pero karon, tungod nga natapos ko na ang akon obra sa sini nga mga lugar, kag tungod nga pila na ka tuig ang akon handom nga makakadto dira sa inyo,24 ayhan magakitaay na gid kita. Kay ang akon plano maagi ako dira sa inyo kon magpa-Espania ako. Gusto ko nga malipay sa pagpakig-upod sa inyo bisan sa malip-ot lang nga tion antes ako magpa-Espania paagi sa inyo pagpatigayon.25 Pero karon makadto ako anay sa Jerusalem agod idul-ong ang bulig para sa mga katawhan sang Dios didto.26  Kay ang mga tumuluo sa Macedonia kag Acaya nagbuluntad nga maghatag sang bulig sa mga imol nga mga katawhan sang Dios didto sa Jerusalem.27 Gusto nila nga himuon ini. Kon sa bagay may kabalaslan sila sa mga tumuluo sa Jerusalem. Kay kon indi tungod sa mga tumuluo sa Jerusalem, ining mga indi Judio wala nakabaton sang mga espirituhanon nga mga pagpakamaayo. Gani dapat nga buligan sang mga indi Judio ang mga tumuluo sa Jerusalem sa ila materyal nga mga kinahanglanon.28 Pagkatapos nga mahatag ko sa ila ini nga mga bulig, mahapit ako dira sa inyo antes ako magpa-Espania.

29 Kag nagapati ako nga sa pag-abot ko dira, madamo nga mga pagpakamaayo halin kay Cristo ang mabaton naton sa isa kag isa.
30  Gani mga utod, tungod kay Jesu-Cristo nga aton Ginoo, kag tungod sa gugma nga ginhatag sang Espiritu Santo sa aton, nagapangabay ako nga buligan ninyo ako sa pagpangamuyo sing hugot sa Dios para sa akon.31 Pangamuyo kamo nga indi ako maano sang mga indi tumuluo sa Judea, kag pangamuyo man kamo nga malipay ang mga katawhan sang Dios sa Jerusalem sa bulig nga akon dal-on sa ila.32 Dayon, kon itugot sang Dios, makadto ako dira sa inyo nga puno sing kalipay, kag makapahuway ako kaupod ninyo.33 Kabay pa nga ubayan kamo sang Dios nga nagahatag sang kalinong sa aton kabuhi. Amen.

ROMANS 15

Please Others and Not Yourself

1 If our faith is strong, we should be patient with the Lord's followers whose faith is weak. We should try to please them instead of ourselves. 2 We should think of their good and try to help them by doing what pleases them. 3 t Even Christ did not try to please himself. But as the Scriptures say, “The people who insulted you also insulted me.” 4 t And the Scriptures were written to teach and encourage us by giving us hope. 5 God is the one who makes us patient and cheerful. I pray that he will help you live at peace with each other, as you follow Christ.

6 Then all of you together will praise God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Good News Is for Jews //and Gentiles

9 t so that the Gentiles would praise God for being kind to them. It is just as the Scriptures say,
“I will tell the nations
about you,
and I will sing praises
to your name.”

10  t The Scriptures also say to the Gentiles, “Come and celebrate with God's people.”

11  t Again the Scriptures say,
“Praise the Lord,
all you Gentiles.
All you nations, come
and worship him.”

12  t Isaiah says,
“Someone from David's family
will come to power.
He will rule the nations,
and they will put their hope
in him.”

13 I pray that God, who gives hope, will bless you with complete happiness and peace because of your faith. And may the power of the Holy Spirit fill you with hope.

Paul's Work as a Missionary

16 He chose me to be a servant of Christ Jesus for the Gentiles and to do the work of a priest in the service of his good news. God did this so that the Holy Spirit could make the Gentiles into a holy offering, pleasing to him.
17 Because of Christ Jesus, I can take pride in my service for God. 18 In fact, all I will talk about is how Christ let me speak and work, so that the Gentiles would obey him. 19 Indeed, I will tell how Christ worked miracles and wonders by the power of the Holy Spirit. I have preached the good news about him all the way from Jerusalem to Illyricum. 20 But I have always tried to preach where people have never heard about Christ. I am like a builder who doesn't build on someone else's foundation.

21 t It is just as the Scriptures say,
“All who haven't been told
about him
will see him,
and those who haven't heard
about him
will understand.”

Paul's Plan To Visit Rome

24 So I plan to stop off on my way to Spain. Then after a short, but refreshing, visit with you, I hope you will quickly send me on.
25-26  t I am now on my way to Jerusalem to deliver the money that the Lord's followers in Macedonia and Achaia collected for God's needy people. 27 t This is something they really wanted to do. But sharing their money with the Jews was also like paying back a debt, because the Jews had already shared their spiritual blessings with the Gentiles. 28 After I have safely delivered this money, I will visit you and then go on to Spain.

29 And when I do arrive in Rome, I know it will be with the full blessings of Christ.
30 My friends, by the power of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the love that comes from the Holy Spirit, I beg you to pray sincerely with me and for me. 31 Pray that God will protect me from the unbelievers in Judea, and that his people in Jerusalem will be pleased with what I am doing. 32 Ask God to let me come to you and have a pleasant and refreshing visit. 33 I pray that God, who gives peace, will be with all of you. Amen.
