1 و ما که توانا هستیم، ضعفهای ناتوانان رامتحمل بشویم و خوشی خود را طالب نباشیم.2 هر یکی از ما همسایه خود را خوش بسازد در آنچه برای بنا نیکو است.3 زیرا مسیح نیز خوشی خود را طالب نمی بود، بلکه چنانکه مکتوب است «ملامتهای ملامت کنندگان تو برمن طاری گردید.»4 زیرا همهچیزهایی که از قبل مکتوب شد، برای تعلیم ما نوشته شد تا به صبر وتسلی کتاب امیدوار باشیم.5 الان خدای صبر و تسلی شما را فیض عطاکناد تا موافق مسیح عیسی با یکدیگر یکرای باشید.6 تا یکدل و یکزبان شده، خدا و پدرخداوند ما عیسی مسیح را تمجید نمایید.7 پس یکدیگر را بپذیرید، چنانکه مسیح نیز مارا پذیرفت برای جلال خدا.8 زیرا میگویم عیسی مسیح خادم ختنه گردید بجهت راستی خدا تا وعده های اجداد را ثابت گرداند،9 و تاامتها خدا را تمجید نمایند بهسبب رحمت اوچنانکه مکتوب است که «از این جهت تو را درمیان امتها اقرار خواهم کرد و به نام تو تسبیح خواهم خواند.»10 و نیز میگوید «ای امتها باقوم او شادمان شوید.»11 و ایض «ای جمیع امتها خداوند را حمد گویید وای تمامی قومهااو را مدح نمایید.»12 و اشعیا نیز میگوید که «ریشه یسا خواهد بود و آنکه برای حکمرانی امتها مبعوث شود، امید امتها بر وی خواهدبود.»13 الان خدای امید، شما را از کمال خوشی وسلامتی در ایمان پر سازد تا به قوت روحالقدس در امید افزوده گردید.14 لکنای برادران من، خود نیز درباره شمایقین میدانم که خود از نیکویی مملو و پر از کمال معرفت و قادر بر نصیحت نمودن یکدیگر هستید.15 لیکنای برادران بسیار جسارت ورزیده، من خود نیز به شما جزئی نوشتم تا شما را یادآوری نمایم بهسبب آن فیضی که خدا به من بخشیده است،16 تا خادم عیسی مسیح شوم برای امت هاو کهانت انجیل خدا را بهجا آورم تا هدیه امت هامقبول افتد، مقدس شده به روحالقدس.17 پس به مسیح عیسی در کارهای خدا فخر دارم.18 زیراجرات نمی کنم که سخنی بگویم جز در آن اموری که مسیح بواسطه من به عمل آورد، برای اطاعت امتها در قول و فعل،19 به قوت آیات ومعجزات و به قوت روح خدا. بحدی که ازاورشلیم دور زده تا به الیرکون بشارت مسیح راتکمیل نمودم.20 اما حریص بودم که بشارت چنان بدهم، نه در جایی که اسم مسیح شهرت یافته بود، مبادا بر بنیاد غیری بنا نمایم.21 بلکه چنانکه مکتوب است «آنانی که خبر او را نیافتند، خواهند دید و کسانی که نشنیدند، خواهندفهمید.»22 بنابراینبارها از آمدن نزد شما ممنوع شدم.23 لکن چون الان مرا در این ممالک دیگرجایی نیست و سالهای بسیار است که مشتاق آمدن نزد شما بودهام،24 هرگاه به اسپانیا سفرکنم، به نزد شما خواهم آمد زیرا امیدوار هستم که شما را در عبور ملاقات کنم و شما مرا به آن سوی مشایعت نمایید، بعد از آنکه از ملاقات شما اندکی سیر شوم.25 لکن الان عازم اورشلیم هستم تا مقدسین را خدمت کنم.26 زیرا که اهل مکادونیه و اخائیه مصلحت دیدند که زکاتی برای مفلسین مقدسین اورشلیم بفرستند،27 بدین رضادادند و بدرستی که مدیون ایشان هستند زیرا که چون امتها از روحانیات ایشان بهرهمندگردیدند، لازم شد که در جسمانیات نیز خدمت ایشان را بکنند.28 پس چون این را انجام دهم واین ثمر را نزد ایشان ختم کنم، از راه شما به اسپانیا خواهم آمد.29 و میدانم وقتی که به نزدشما آیم، در کمال برکت انجیل مسیح خواهم آمد.30 لکنای برادران، از شما التماس دارم که بخاطر خداوند ما عیسی مسیح و به محبت روح (القدس )، برای من نزد خدا در دعاها جد وجهدکنید،31 تا از نافرمانان یهودیه رستگار شوم وخدمت من در اورشلیم مقبول مقدسین افتد،32 تابرحسب اراده خدا با خوشی نزد شما برسم و باشما استراحت یابم.33 و خدای سلامتی با همه شما باد، آمین.

ROMANS 15

Please Others and Not Yourself

1 If our faith is strong, we should be patient with the Lord's followers whose faith is weak. We should try to please them instead of ourselves. 2 We should think of their good and try to help them by doing what pleases them. 3 t Even Christ did not try to please himself. But as the Scriptures say, “The people who insulted you also insulted me.” 4 t And the Scriptures were written to teach and encourage us by giving us hope. 5 God is the one who makes us patient and cheerful. I pray that he will help you live at peace with each other, as you follow Christ.

6 Then all of you together will praise God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Good News Is for Jews //and Gentiles

9 t so that the Gentiles would praise God for being kind to them. It is just as the Scriptures say,
“I will tell the nations
about you,
and I will sing praises
to your name.”

10  t The Scriptures also say to the Gentiles, “Come and celebrate with God's people.”

11  t Again the Scriptures say,
“Praise the Lord,
all you Gentiles.
All you nations, come
and worship him.”

12  t Isaiah says,
“Someone from David's family
will come to power.
He will rule the nations,
and they will put their hope
in him.”

13 I pray that God, who gives hope, will bless you with complete happiness and peace because of your faith. And may the power of the Holy Spirit fill you with hope.

Paul's Work as a Missionary

16 He chose me to be a servant of Christ Jesus for the Gentiles and to do the work of a priest in the service of his good news. God did this so that the Holy Spirit could make the Gentiles into a holy offering, pleasing to him.
17 Because of Christ Jesus, I can take pride in my service for God. 18 In fact, all I will talk about is how Christ let me speak and work, so that the Gentiles would obey him. 19 Indeed, I will tell how Christ worked miracles and wonders by the power of the Holy Spirit. I have preached the good news about him all the way from Jerusalem to Illyricum. 20 But I have always tried to preach where people have never heard about Christ. I am like a builder who doesn't build on someone else's foundation.

21 t It is just as the Scriptures say,
“All who haven't been told
about him
will see him,
and those who haven't heard
about him
will understand.”

Paul's Plan To Visit Rome

24 So I plan to stop off on my way to Spain. Then after a short, but refreshing, visit with you, I hope you will quickly send me on.
25-26  t I am now on my way to Jerusalem to deliver the money that the Lord's followers in Macedonia and Achaia collected for God's needy people. 27 t This is something they really wanted to do. But sharing their money with the Jews was also like paying back a debt, because the Jews had already shared their spiritual blessings with the Gentiles. 28 After I have safely delivered this money, I will visit you and then go on to Spain.

29 And when I do arrive in Rome, I know it will be with the full blessings of Christ.
30 My friends, by the power of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the love that comes from the Holy Spirit, I beg you to pray sincerely with me and for me. 31 Pray that God will protect me from the unbelievers in Judea, and that his people in Jerusalem will be pleased with what I am doing. 32 Ask God to let me come to you and have a pleasant and refreshing visit. 33 I pray that God, who gives peace, will be with all of you. Amen.
