โรม 15

1 เราที่เข้มแข็งควรอดทนต่อความพลั้งพลาดของผู้ที่อ่อนแอและไม่ทำตามใจชอบของเราเอง2 เราแต่ละคนควรทำให้เพื่อนบ้าน พอใจอันเป็นผลดีแก่เขา เพื่อเสริมสร้างเขาขึ้น3 เพราะแม้แต่พระคริสต์ก็ไม่ได้ทรงทำสิ่งที่พระองค์เองพอพระทัย แต่ตามที่มีเขียนไว้ว่า " การหมิ่นประมาทของผู้ที่สบประมาทพระองค์ได้ตกอยู่แก่ข้าพระองค์ " t

4 เพราะทุกสิ่งที่เขียนไว้ในอดีตก็เขียนขึ้นเพื่อสอนเรา เพื่อว่าเราจะได้มีความหวังโดยความทรหดอดทนและการให้กำลังใจจากพระคัมภีร์
5 ขอพระเจ้าผู้ประทานความทรหดอดทนและกำลังใจทรงโปรดให้ท่านทั้งหลายติดตามพระเยซูคริสต์ด้วยความเป็นน้ำหนึ่งใจเดียวกัน

6 เพื่อท่านทั้งหลายจะได้ถวายพระเกียรติสิริแด่พระเจ้าด้วยปากและใจเดียวกัน พระองค์คือพระเจ้าและพระบิดาของพระเยซูคริสต์เจ้าของเรา
7 ฉะนั้นจงยอมรับซึ่งกันและกันเหมือนที่พระคริสต์ทรงยอมรับท่าน เพื่อจะนำการสรรเสริญมาถวายแด่พระเจ้า8 เพราะข้าพเจ้าขอบอกท่านว่าพระคริสต์ได้กลายเป็นผู้รับใช้ของพวกยิว t อันเป็นการสำแดงความสัตย์จริงของพระเจ้า เพื่อยืนยันพระสัญญาที่ทรงให้ไว้กับเหล่าบรรพชนผู้ยิ่งใหญ่

9 เพื่อว่าคนต่างชาติจะถวายพระเกียรติสิริแด่พระเจ้า เนื่องด้วยพระเมตตาของพระองค์ ตามที่มีเขียนไว้ว่า
" ด้วยเหตุนี้ข้าพระองค์จะสรรเสริญพระองค์ท่ามกลางคนต่างชาติ
จะร้องบทเพลงสรรเสริญแด่พระนามของพระองค์ "

10 และกล่าวอีกว่า
" คนต่างชาติทั้งหลายเอ๋ย จงชื่นชมยินดีร่วมกับประชากรของพระองค์เถิด "

11 และอีกตอนหนึ่งที่ว่า
" คนต่างชาติทั้งสิ้นเอ๋ย จงสรรเสริญองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าเถิด
ชนชาติทั้งสิ้นเอ๋ย จงร้องเพลงสรรเสริญพระองค์ "

12 และอิสยาห์กล่าวด้วยว่า
" รากแห่งเจสซีจะผุดขึ้น
ผู้ซึ่งจะขึ้นมาเพื่อครอบครองนานาประชาชาติ
คนต่างชาติทั้งหลายจะหวังในพระองค์ "

13 ขอพระเจ้าแห่งความหวังทรงให้ท่านบริบูรณ์ด้วยความชื่นชมยินดีและสันติสุขทั้งปวงเมื่อท่านวางใจในพระองค์ เพื่อว่าท่านจะเปี่ยมล้นด้วยความหวังโดยฤทธิ์อำนาจของพระวิญญาณบริสุทธิ์

14 พี่น้องทั้งหลาย ข้าพเจ้าเองแน่ใจว่าพวกท่านเองบริบูรณ์ด้วยความดี เพียบพร้อมด้วยความรู้ และสามารถสั่งสอนกันและกันได้15 ที่ข้าพเจ้ากล้าเขียนบางเรื่องถึงท่านราวกับว่าเพื่อจะเตือนท่านในเรื่องเหล่านั้นอีกครั้ง ก็เพราะพระคุณที่พระเจ้าได้ประทานแก่ข้าพเจ้า

16 ให้เป็นผู้รับใช้ของพระเยซูคริสต์มายังคนต่างชาติ ทำหน้าที่ปุโรหิตประกาศข่าวประเสริฐของพระเจ้า เพื่อว่าคนต่างชาติจะได้กลายเป็นเครื่องบูชาที่พระเจ้าทรงยอมรับ ซึ่งพระวิญญาณบริสุทธิ์ได้ทรงชำระให้บริสุทธิ์แล้ว
17 ฉะนั้นในพระเยซูคริสต์ ข้าพเจ้าภูมิใจในสิ่งต่างๆ ที่ได้ทำให้แก่พระเจ้า18 ข้าพเจ้าไม่กล้ากล่าวถึงสิ่งใดนอกเหนือจากสิ่งที่พระคริสต์ทรงกระทำผ่านทางข้าพเจ้า ในการนำคนต่างชาติมาเชื่อฟังพระเจ้าด้วยสิ่งที่ข้าพเจ้าได้พูดและทำ19 คือด้วยฤทธิ์อำนาจแห่งหมายสำคัญและการอัศจรรย์ต่างๆ โดยทางฤทธิ์อำนาจของพระวิญญาณบริสุทธิ์ ข้าพเจ้าจึงได้ประกาศข่าวประเสริฐ ของพระคริสต์อย่างครบถ้วนในทุกที่ตั้งแต่กรุงเยรูซาเล็มไปทั่วจนจดเมืองอิลลีริคุม20 ข้าพเจ้ามุ่งมาดปรารถนาเสมอมาว่าจะประกาศข่าวประเสริฐในที่ซึ่งไม่มีใครรู้จักพระคริสต์ เพื่อว่าข้าพเจ้าจะได้ไม่ก่อขึ้นบนฐานรากที่คนอื่นวางไว้

21 ตามที่มีเขียนไว้ว่า
" ผู้ที่ไม่เคยมีใครบอกเรื่องพระองค์จะได้เห็น
และผู้ที่ไม่เคยได้ยินได้ฟังมาก่อนจะเข้าใจ "

22 นี่คือเหตุที่ขัดขวางข้าพเจ้าอยู่เสมอ ทำให้ข้าพเจ้าไม่ได้มาหาพวกท่าน

23 แต่บัดนี้ไม่มีที่ใดเหลือให้ข้าพเจ้าทำงานในภูมิภาคเหล่านี้แล้ว และเนื่องจากข้าพเจ้าปรารถนาที่จะมาพบพวกท่านหลายปีแล้ว24 ข้าพเจ้าจึงวางแผนจะมาพบท่านตอนไปประเทศสเปน ข้าพเจ้าหวังว่าจะได้มาเยี่ยมเยียนท่านขณะเดินทางผ่านไป และหวังจะให้ท่านช่วยเหลือข้าพเจ้าในการเดินทางไปที่นั่น หลังจากได้สังสรรค์อยู่กับพวกท่านสักระยะหนึ่ง25 แต่ขณะนี้ข้าพเจ้ากำลังเดินทางไปกรุงเยรูซาเล็มเพื่อช่วยเหลือประชากรของพระเจ้าที่นั่น26 เพราะพี่น้องในแคว้นมาซิโดเนียและแคว้นอาคายายินดีที่จะบริจาคให้ผู้ยากไร้ในหมู่ประชากรของพระเจ้าที่กรุงเยรูซาเล็ม27 พวกเขายินดีที่จะทำเช่นนั้น และอันที่จริงพวกเขาก็เป็นหนี้พี่น้อง เหล่านั้นด้วย เพราะถ้าคนต่างชาติมีส่วนร่วมในพระพรฝ่ายจิตวิญญาณของชาวยิว พวกเขาก็เป็นหนี้พี่น้องชาวยิว เขาควรที่จะแบ่งปันพระพรฝ่ายวัตถุให้พี่น้องเหล่านั้น28 ดังนั้นหลังจากเสร็จภารกิจนี้ และดูแลจนแน่ใจว่าพวกพี่น้องได้รับผลนี้เรียบร้อยแล้ว ข้าพเจ้าก็จะไปประเทศสเปนและแวะเยี่ยมพวกท่านระหว่างทาง

29 ข้าพเจ้ารู้ว่าเมื่อมาหาท่าน ข้าพเจ้าจะมาพร้อมด้วยพระพรอันเต็มบริบูรณ์ของพระคริสต์
30 พี่น้องทั้งหลาย โดยองค์พระเยซูคริสต์เจ้าของเราและโดยความรักจากพระวิญญาณข้าพเจ้าขอให้พวกท่านร่วมในการดิ้นรนต่อสู้ของข้าพเจ้าด้วยการอธิษฐานต่อพระเจ้าเพื่อข้าพเจ้า31 ขออธิษฐานให้ข้าพเจ้าได้รับการช่วยเหลือให้พ้นจากผู้ไม่เชื่อทั้งหลายในแคว้นยูเดีย และขอให้ประชากรของพระเจ้าในกรุงเยรูซาเล็มยอมรับความช่วยเหลือของข้าพเจ้า32 เพื่อว่าโดยพระประสงค์ของพระเจ้า ข้าพเจ้าจะได้มาหาพวกท่านด้วยความชื่นชมยินดีและได้รับความชื่นใจร่วมกันกับพวกท่าน

33 ขอพระเจ้าแห่งสันติสุขสถิตกับท่านทั้งหลายเถิด อาเมน

Romans 15

1 Now we that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.2 Let each one of us please his neighbor for that which is good, unto edifying.3 For Christ also pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell upon me.4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that through patience and through comfort of the scriptures we might have hope.5 Now the God of patience and of comfort grant you to be of the same mind one with another according to Christ Jesus:6 that with one accord ye may with one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.7 Wherefore receive ye one another, even as Christ also received you, to the glory of God.8 For I say that Christ hath been made a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, that he might confirm the promises given unto the fathers,9 and that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, Therefore will I give praise unto thee among the Gentiles, And sing unto thy name.

10 And again he saith, Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people.

11 And again, Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; And let all the peoples praise him.

12 And again, Isaiah saith, There shall be the root of Jesse, And he that ariseth to rule over the Gentiles; On him shall the Gentiles hope.

13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit.14 And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.15 But I write the more boldly unto you in some measure, as putting you again in remembrance, because of the grace that was given me of God,16 that I should be a minister of Christ Jesus unto the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be made acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Spirit.17 I have therefore my glorifying in Christ Jesus in things pertaining to God.18 For I will not dare to speak of any things save those which Christ wrought through me, for the obedience of the Gentiles, by word and deed,19 in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of the Holy Spirit; so that from Jerusalem, and round about even unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ;20 yea, making it my aim so to preach the gospel, not where Christ was already named, that I might not build upon another man’s foundation;21 but, as it is written, They shall see, to whom no tidings of him came, And they who have not heard shall understand.

22 Wherefore also I was hindered these many times from coming to you:23 but now, having no more any place in these regions, and having these many years a longing to come unto you,24 whensoever I go unto Spain (for I hope to see you in my journey, and to be brought on my way thitherward by you, if first in some measure I shall have been satisfied with your company)--25 but now, I say, I go unto Jerusalem, ministering unto the saints.26 For it hath been the good pleasure of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor among the saints that are at Jerusalem.27 Yea, it hath been their good pleasure; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, they owe it to them also to minister unto them in carnal things.28 When therefore I have accomplished this, and have sealed to them this fruit, I will go on by you unto Spain.29 And I know that, when I come unto you, I shall come in the fulness of the blessing of Christ.30 Now I beseech you, brethren, by our Lord Jesus Christ, and by the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me;31 that I may be delivered from them that are disobedient in Judaea, and that my ministration which I have for Jerusalem may be acceptable to the saints;32 that I may come unto you in joy through the will of God, and together with you find rest.33 Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.
