1 Pọl, orù nke Chineke, na onye-ozi nke Jisus Kraist, dika okwukwe ndi Chineke rọputara si di, ya na nmazu nke ezi-okwu ahu nke di n'uzọ nsọpuru-Chineke, 2 n'olile-anya nke ndu ebighi-ebi, nke Chineke, Onye nāpughi ikwu okwu-ugha, kwere nkwa ya tutu mb͕e ebighi-ebi erue; 3 ma O mere ka okwu-Ya puta ìhè n'oge nke aka Ya nime nkwusa, nke enyere n'aka mu onwem na ntukwasi-obi idebe dika ihe nke Onye-nzọputa-ayi Chineke nyere n'iwu si di;

4 Pọl nka nēdegara Taitọs akwukwọ, bú ezi nwa nkem dika okwukwe ayi kwekọrọ si di: Amara na udo diri gi nke si n'aka Chineke, bú Nna-ayi, na Kraist Jisus Onye-nzọputa-ayi puta.
5 N'ihi nka ka m'rapuru gi na Krit, ka i we dozie ihe fọduru, do kwa madu ndi-okenye n'obodo nile ọ bula, dika mu onwem nyere gi iwu; 6 ọ buru na onye ọ bula bu onye anāpughi ibo ebubo, di nke otù nwunye, nēnwe umu kwere ekwe, bú ndi anēboghi ebubo na ha nādi ndu ila-n'iyì, ndi nābughi kwa ndi nēkweghi inọ n'okpuru iwu. 7 N'ihi na onye ahu nke nēlekọta nzukọ Kraist anya aghaghi ibu onye anāpughi ibo ebubo, dika onye nāchi èzí-na-ulo Chineke; onye nābughi onye nwere isi-ike, nābughi onye nēwe iwe ọsọsọ, nābughi onye nēse okwu site n'iṅubiga manya ókè, nābughi onye nēti madu aka, nābughi onye akpiri urù nēweta ihere nākpọ nku; 8 kama ọ ghaghi ibu onye nēle ndi-ọbìa nke-ọma, onye nāhu ezi ihe n'anya, onye uche-ya zuru okè, onye ezi omume, onye di ọcha n'obi, onye nējidesi onwe-ya ike;

9 nējide okwu ahu nke kwesiri ntukwasi-obi nke di ka ozizí-ayi si di, ka o we pu idusi ọdu ike nime ozizí nke nēnye ezi ndu, na itu kwa ndi nēkwugide ekwugide nmehie-ha n'anya.
10 N'ihi na ọtutu madu di ndi nēkweghi idi n'okpuru iwu, ndi nēkwu okwu efu, ndi nāghọb͕u kwa obi madu, ma nke kachasinu ndi si n'etiti ndi obibì-úgwù puta, 11 ndi anāghaghi imechi ọnu-ha; ha bu madu ndi nēkpù madu dum di n'èzí-na-ulo iru, nēzí ihe nke nēkwesighi ka ha zí, n'ihi urù nēweta ihere. 12 Otù onye n'etiti ha, bú onye-amuma nke aka ha, siri, Ndi Krit bu ndi-ugha mb͕e dum, anu-ọhia jọrọ njọ, ndi afọ-nri nādighi-alu ọlu. 13 Àmà nka bu ezi-okwu. N'ihi ihe a were kwa aka ike tu ha nmehie-ha n'anya, ka ha we nwe ezi ndu nime okwukwe-ayi, 14 ka ha ghara iṅa nti akukọ-irò ihe di iche nke ndi-Ju, na ihe di iche iche nke madu nyere n'iwu, bú ndi nēchighari rapu ezi-okwu ahu. 15 Ihe nile di ọcha n'ebe ndi di ọcha nọ: ma n'ebe ndi emeruworo ndi nēkweghi kwa ekwe nọ ọ dighi ihe ọ bula di ọcha; kama, emeruwo ma uche-ha ma akọ-na-uche-ha. 16 Ha nēkwuputa na ha matara Chineke; ma ọlu nile ha ka ha ji gọnari Ya, ebe ha bu ihe-ùrú, ndi nādighi-ekwenye kwa, buru kwa ndi ajuru aju n'ebe ezi ọlu nile ọ bula di.

Titus 1

1 Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect, and the knowledge of the truth which is according to godliness,2 in hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised before times eternal;3 but in his own seasons manifested his word in the message, wherewith I was intrusted according to the commandment of God our Saviour;4 to Titus, my true child after a common faith: Grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Saviour.5 For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that were wanting, and appoint elders in every city, as I gave thee charge;6 if any man is blameless, the husband of one wife, having children that believe, who are not accused of riot or unruly.7 For the bishop must be blameless, as God’s steward; not self-willed, not soon angry, no brawler, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre;8 but given to hospitality, a lover of good, sober-minded, just, holy, self-controlled;9 holding to the faithful word which is according to the teaching, that he may be able to exhort in the sound doctrine, and to convict the gainsayers.10 For there are many unruly men, vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision,11 whose mouths must be stopped; men who overthrow whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre’s sake.12 One of themselves, a prophet of their own, said, Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, idle gluttons.13 This testimony is true. For which cause reprove them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith,14 not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men who turn away from the truth.15 To the pure all things are pure: but to them that are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but both their mind and their conscience are defiled.16 They profess that they know God; but by their works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
