طِطُس 2

ٹھوس تعلِیم

1 لیکن تُو وہ باتیں بیان کر جو صحِیح تعلِیم کے مُناسِب ہیں۔ 2 یعنی یہ کہ بُوڑھے مَرد پرہیزگار سنجِیدہ اور مُتّقی ہوں اور اُن کا اِیمان اور مُحبّت اور صبر صحِیح ہو۔ 3 اِسی طرح بُوڑھی عَورتوں کی بھی وضع مُقدّسوں کی سی ہو ۔ تُہمت لگانے والی اور زِیادہ مَے پِینے میں مُبتلا نہ ہوں بلکہ اچھّی باتیں سِکھانے والی ہوں۔ 4 تاکہ جوان عَورتوں کو سِکھائیں کہ اپنے شَوہروں کو پیار کریں ۔ بچّوں کو پیار کریں۔

5 اور مُتّقی اور پاک دامن اور گھر کا کاروبار کرنے والی اور مِہربان ہوں اور اپنے اپنے شَوہر کے تابِع رہیں تاکہ خُدا کا کلام بدنام نہ ہو۔
6 جوان آدمِیوں کو بھی اِسی طرح نصِیحت کر کہ مُتّقی بنیں۔ 7 سب باتوں میں اپنے آپ کو نیک کاموں کا نمُونہ بنا ۔ تیری تعلِیم میں صفائی اور سنجِیدگی۔

8 اور اَیسی صِحت کلامی پائی جائے جو ملامت کے لائِق نہ ہو تاکہ مُخالِف ہم پر عَیب لگانے کی کوئی وجہ نہ پا کر شرمِندہ ہو جائے۔
9 نَوکروں کو نصِیحت کر کہ اپنے مالِکوں کے تابِع رہیں اور سب باتوں میں اُنہیں خُوش رکھّیں اور اُن کے حُکم سے کُچھ اِنکار نہ کریں۔

10 چوری چالاکی نہ کریں بلکہ ہر طرح کی دِیانت داری اچھّی طرح ظاہِر کریں تاکہ اُن سے ہر بات میں ہمارے مُنجّی خُدا کی تعلِیم کو رَونق ہو۔
11 کیونکہ خُدا کا وہ فضل ظاہِر ہُؤا ہے جو سب آدمِیوں کی نجات کا باعِث ہے۔ 12 اور ہمیں تربِیّت دیتا ہے تاکہ بے دینی اور دُنیَوی خواہِشوں کا اِنکار کر کے اِس مَوجُودہ جہان میں پرہیزگاری اور راست بازی اور دِین داری کے ساتھ زِندگی گُذاریں۔ 13 اور اُس مُبارک اُمّید یعنی اپنے بزُرگ خُدا اور مُنجّی یِسُوع مسِیح کے جلال کے ظاہِر ہونے کے مُنتظِر رہیں۔

14 جِس نے اپنے آپ کو ہمارے واسطے دے دِیا تاکہ فِدیہ ہو کر ہمیں ہر طرح کی بے دِینی سے چُھڑا لے اور پاک کر کے اپنی خاص مِلکِیّت کے لِئے ایک اَیسی اُمّت بنائے جو نیک کاموں میں سرگرم ہو۔
15 پُورے اِختیار کے ساتھ یہ باتیں کہہ اور نصِیحت دے اور ملامت کر ۔ کوئی تیری حقارت نہ کرنے پائے۔

Titus 2

Duties of the Older and Younger

1 But as for you, speak the things which are fitting for sound doctrine.2 Older men are to be temperate, dignified, sensible, sound in faith, in love, in perseverance.

3 Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good,4 so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children,5  to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored.

6 Likewise urge the young men to be sensible;7 in all things show yourself to be an example of good deeds, with purity in doctrine, dignified,8 sound in speech which is beyond reproach, so that the opponent will be put to shame, having nothing bad to say about us.

9  Urge bondslaves to be subject to their own masters in everything, to be well-pleasing, not argumentative,10 not pilfering, but showing all good faith so that they will adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in every respect.

11 For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men,12 instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age,13 looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus,14 who gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds.

15 These things speak and exhort and reprove with all authority. Let no one disregard you.
