Mark 6:6 ASV and Mark 6:14-16 ASV

Jesus is amazed at the unbelief of the people. That hits me, although Jesus is 100% God and knows people's hearts and isn't surprised about anything, this really displays his humanity as well. Even Jesus in his humanity is amazed at the unbelief of his people.

Isn't this at the heart of who we are as a sin human race? We doubt, we don't have faith, we don't trust, we rebel, we criticize. Even when Jesus displayed the power and authority of God through miracles and scripture we still want to attribute it to someone other than God himself.
