What is the Truth?
Chapters 18:37-40 and 19:1-11 in the Book of John describe Jesus being taken to the Praetorioum to be questioned by Pontius Pilate. It is here in Chapter 18:38 that Pilate asks Jesus, "What is truth?"

The Bible does not record Jesus answering Pilate's question. I don't think Pilate would have understood the answer. The Bible though does record the answer (John 14:6). The night before the crucification...at the Last Supper, Jesus proclaimed to His disciples - "I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one comes to the Father except through me."
What is the truth? Jesus is!
