There is a fight?
When Peter and John went back to their "own" people... these scriptures are their reaction to the news they would be punished and ridiculed by the leaders of their people - that they would face, not only rejection, but death at every corner.
Is this how I respond? Some days I'm not even sure there is a war... but I actually am, knowledge does create responsibility. Since I am aware of the battle, a response is required of me . . . I can, as I have in the past, ignore the reality that satan is leading an all out attack on me, my family, all of us in the world. OR I can make a decision to stand, or at least have the desire to, so God can work through me. This is what I see God calling me to today. To make myself available to Him and to pray with passion that I might speak the Word of God boldly.
