Difficultly obvious
Wow what a smack in the head. How many times do I try so hard to do enough to make God accept me more. There is no way to earn salvation that I have accepted. So why is it that I try to earn more of God? That is the dumbest thought process ever but more times than not it is what I default back to when things are tough. God doesn't want a bunch of puffed up prideful people amazed at there own works, He want people that are truly amazed and thankful at the Grace that he has extended them. the thing to remember is that God created us. We don't know why exactly we have ideas and glimpses but we don't know exactly why. In light of that if God created us he know how we work best. He would be the one qualified to write and owners manual. Would you take the word of the Car manufacturer or your dry cleaner on how ofter you should change you oil? Well I know who you should listen to. God's rules are to act as a guideline for optimal performance not to keep us hemmed in. God didn't give us rules so we could earn various levels of his love. God's love is freely given to any who will accept it. If you being evil fathers desire to give good gifts to your children will not God give even more of his Holy spirit who ever asks for him. God wants us to live an abundant life.
