1 Corinthians 13:7 ASV

Sometimes we can love somebody with all we have, and they don’t even know it. You love somebody but the way they receive love is different than the way you give it. You buy your husband/boyfriend gifts thinking he will love them, but he can barely utter a thank you. He cleans your car for you thinking he will receive your love in return and you barely notice. Somewhere along the way, you’re missing one another.
Love is like money—you’ve got to make deposits every day in order to be able to make withdrawals from that bank account.

You’re only going to get out of it what you put in. You have to ask yourself, perhaps as a reminder, “What did I deposit into my relationship today?”
Did you deposit kindness, goodness, gentleness, things that really matter (Galatians 5:22-26)? Because when you do, you’re going to get that love back.

You may be tired of giving and you’re frustrated because you don’t feel like you are being loved the way you should, but...don’t ever give up because love covers all offenses (1 Corinthians 13). It “bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things” (1 Corinthians 13:7).

Stay on course with those you love. Find out the way they respond to your love and it will not come back void.

Extraordinary Women.
