This is my favorite thing about the Faith of Christianity... From the moment sin entered the creation, there was a plan to deal with it. God told Satan that "the seed of the woman" (who we later find out is named Jesus Christ!). Then, from the moment of this proise, we begin a wait that lasts the entire Old Testament, all the while looking at shadows and forms that all point forward to the events at the cross. God has never been surprised by the actions of men and he has never failed to provide for us either.
