Sometimes the ones that are closest to you don't always care about you
In my life experience I have learned some hard, hard lessons; however, in those lessons, I have learned that nothing in this world can compare or measure up to God's love for you. In my experience I have learned that sometimes the closest person to you can betray you the most. Whether that be a wife cheating on you with your cousin, or family members ill talking you behind your back, or friends betraying the trust you have them. I learned that we focus a great deal on relationships on this world, yet we neglect Gods love for us and neglect our relationship with him. My prayer in reading this passage is that I try to focus more on God's relationship with me. God has always forgiven me of my short comings. He holds us so close to him, and tho we screw up on more occassions then we like, he is always there to forgive us. In order for us to love and trust, and we must first experience what true love and true trust is. We can never find someone that is more willing to forgive, and more willing to heal, then God. He has spent a great deal of time, watching over us, knowing about us, yet we neglect to know him. I'm sorry God for not making my relationship with you more important than the relationships of this world, and I strive to hold you above all others.
