Luke 22:39-46 ASV

With the cross before him yet, Jesus prayed in anguish. He begged His Dad to keep Him from this trial of faith and test of love. It would be difficult--indeed more difficult than anything Jesus had ever done. And he dreaded it, so much so that he perspired what seemed like drops of blood.

But Jesus closes His prayer His Dad in surrender. "Not what I want but what you want, Father."

And with that, Judas enters Gethsamane, followed by a crowd who would take Jesus to His God-ordained death.

And then...He would rise again.
