How easy it is to be a witness
I've often looked at what I have done and haven't done in my life to glorify God. Sure, I'm living my life the way I think God intends. I screw up live everyone else, but at the end of the day, the Holy Spirit convicts me when I do screw up, and I make every possible effort to correct the way I am liviing. One thing I often wonder about is what I can actually do to further God's kingdom. I've very often come to the conclusion that we have one purpose and one purpose alone here on Earth and that is to reach out to others and do our part to increase the Kingdom of God. Each of us was giving the free will to make decisions on our own, and if I can have any part in helping another person to Christ, I can think of no greater accomplishment. What is one way that we can be a witness to others? Be that light on the hilltop? We can simply open up to others about what makes us different. It's amazing how people will recoginze that there is something different about you when you have Christ guiding your life. I find encouragement in knowing that doing something as simple as opening up to others is a way to start planting the seeds for others to begin opening up to God.
