hope for our nation
this whole chapter gives me hope for our country! it is easy for me to get discouraged by all the cynicism and unbelief surrounding me. it is amazing to me that people will "stand in awe" {verse 8} of celebrities, or politicians, but they are not in awe of all that GOD has done! the end of the chapter {verse 18-21} is what encourages me! in the preceding verses, it talks about God looking at our hearts. this made me think of how God was willing to save Sodom and Gomorrah for only TEN Godly people!
