Thyatira
Thyatira means literally - City under Tya. she was a Mary-like type, a bridge between the gods and the people ("the queen of heaven"). This passage also refers to the church period of 606-1520, when the christian world was under catholicism (Mary!). It was very known for charity etc. Though the works that are spoken of here are not only good works like charity, but it also means rituals and sacraments etc, who had come instead of the simplicity of faith.
Jezebel is a false prophet, she commited idolatry. Jezebel is the symbol of the immaculate virgin, though she herself was in fact godlessness (sorry, don't know the English word) ---> prostitution, witchcraft, bloodthirsty towards "heretics".
By the way, instead of the marriage that was made at Pergamos, now we see that the woman Jezebel has taken it over... She rules, and says who else rules under her. This is typical for the Catholic empire.
