Christ uses a lot of analogies in these verses. My question is, are they related? What is the context of these verses that mention "hating" immediate family, the cost of towers, kings against kings, possessions, salt and saltiness, manure soil & manure. I understand the translations can be different. I also understand the point but rather than stay in shallow water, what else is out in the deep concerning the Messiah's words in these verses? Insight would be awesome.
