Paul mentions a guy named Sosthenes in 1 Cor. 1:1. Why? Who is he? Why would it be important for the church in Corinth to know this "brother" was with Paul at the time he was penning this letter? You can read the story about his redemptive journey in Acts 18. It's serves to remind us that we can not count out anyone for the faith - even those who may oppose The Way. Paul would know.
