"But you must remain faithful..."
Many people today don’t believe in the one true God, and refuse to accept Jesus as the Messiah. They choose to believe in any god, or no god at all, or perhaps god as a concept or a feeling. And they say Jesus was a great teacher, except for that business about claiming to be divine and the only way to the God. There is no defined right or wrong; only relativism. Self is ultimately the center of this man-made religion, and living fully devoted to God stands in stark contrast to the world’s way of thinking.
As Christians in today's world, we need to be aware of this false teaching and be equipped to speak the Truth in love... prepared to stand firm and defend our beliefs, which are currently being attacked and distorted by the most influential woman in the world. On Oprah's website, there is an article claiming that we have "outgrown" the view that there is only one way to heaven, and that we need to move forward and realize that the truth is something that constantly changes throughout our lives. (I am by no means trying to deny Oprah's right to free speech. I simply believe more Christians need to be speaking up for the truth!)
