The values of Chores
Proverb 24:30-34
I grew up on a farm in central Indiannia, there was also ways something to go and do. The cows needed milked and feed, a two hour expereince to be done twice a day without question. Then the work of the day could begin.
It is these same daily chores (disciplines) that we must learn to embrace. Prayer, study, solitude, God, all must be embrace privately before they can displayed publicly.
I am looking with new eyes at life, labeling the chores that need to be taken care of, and understanding that they are bigger then me. That my feelings dont matter, my attiude must change, and that I will dig deep to finish my chores so that the work can do on.
