It's up to us...
This verse is so challenging to me. We can look at the world and complain about how things have gone downhill. We may blame the decay of our society on the government leaders or on Hollywood or whatever else. However, as our nation is falling, this verse indicates that it is actually God's chosen people, the Christians, that have the power and responsibility to turn things around. We have to seek God sincerely, surrender our worldy desires to Him, and be set apart! We should absolutely stand out among the crowd in our country, and yet so often, we're content to blend in and join in the wickedness. Let's humble ourselves and get serious and pray for our nation!!
