"Now CHOOSE life..."
How awesome to know that God has set before us life and death; blessings and curses... He allows us to make the choice! We can be bitter and resentful, or choose to forgive those who hurt us. We can refuse to exercise and eat whatever we want and suffer the consequences, or choose to live a healthy lifestyle. We can sit back and be apathetic, or step up and lead confidently. We can give in to temptations, or actively resist the devil! It's up to us... we can CHOOSE to keep our minds and hearts pure before God... to encourage others and build them up... to be confident and secure in Christ... to give of our time and $ generously... to walk in love with others... and to rejoice in the Lord at all times!!
We must CHOOSE LIFE... and the next verse goes on to explain that that means loving God, listening and obeying His voice, and clinging to Him!!
