Jesus taught using stories. He did this to push his followers towards INSIGHT. Insight means: to have the capacity to gain understanding. Understanding something, and simply knowing something are two different things. When I understand something, I can apply to a variety of different situations. When we gain Insight, we can experience and communicate the truth of Jesus in everything we say and do. If you're confused about something you're studying. Be patient.
