Delight In Hardships
2 Cor 12:9
The other day, this scripture stood out to me. Often times we get so caught up in saying that were too busy or that I dont have any time. But, God is good, and as he says here, My power is made perfect in your weakness. We aren't perfect, but God is, and he's there, with his hand outstrectched, to help us. We pity ourselves sometimes when we have struggles and hardships. "For christs sake I delight in weakness, in insults in hardships"......that's freakin awesome because it allows us to humble ourselves. and know that God is everything that he claims to be. He is our strength and salvation. God is so powerful, and when we give him our lives, he's there to help us and take care of us. He's our shepard. I always try to solve things on my own thinking and own ways, yet every time, it just comes down to letting God handle it. We all have weaknesses, but having God within us, our weakness becomes a strength. What if we took this word to heart every time we had a struggle? Instead of being down, and dwelling on things, rejoicing in our hardships, and having joy in knowing that God is faithful.
