He hears me.
My version:
In my distress (not when things are just peachy, but when things are ugly) I called to the Lord (not my friends, family, addictions, or compulsions).
I gave up the ugly cry to my God because I desperately needed His help now.
From His home (in me) He heard my voice (that for so long I didn't feel worthy to use);
MY cry (the ugly one) came before HIM right into HIS ears!!!
