Psalm 44:26 ASV

Why does our Heavenly Father care for us? Why does he provide us our daily needs? Why did he send his Son to die for our sins? Where is God? As the country song says, "God must be busy". During the seasons of our life there will be time of joy, times of heartache, times of loneliness, times of pain. We cry out to our Heavenly Father as David did in Psalm 44. Why will God here our prayer and provide direction? Because we are good people? Because we went to church last week? Because we helped our neighbor? Because we did the 3-day walk for breast cancer? No, for none of these reasons does God act. "Rise up and help us; redeem us because of your unfailing love." Unfailing love, that why our Heavenly Father takes action. What a gift to us! God seeks us out because of his unfailing love for us. He loves me so much in that while I was still a sinner, Christ died for me. Nothing due, nothing owed. the free gift of God lest any man should boast.

Let that truth settle in your heart. Wow!
