I have read over this passage many times without really knowing the importance of this verse. While meditating on this verse, the Lord showed me that when we receive what Christ did for us on Calvary, God glorifies His Son. Christ receives the reward for His suffering in our receiving His peace, joy, healing, renewing of our minds, forgiveness and salvation.
