God must be a blessed being in order to give blessings to us. These blessings contain EVERY spiritual blessing from the heavenly places. These are not simply the blessings of man or of the world, but of the realm and actual dwelling place of God. Pure blessings which are flawless and lacking nothing...imputed to you and me.

As a matter of fact, God chose you and I before creation was created. We were chosen to bring Him glory and honor in all our ways. That's all well and good, but how do we do that? We're sinful beings aren't we? Yes, we are. However, in Christ, and only in Christ, can we bring Him ourselves as living sacrifices. Galatians 2:20 states, "I have been crucified with Christ and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me." You and I are no longer living. We are dead and Christ lives through us...if we let Him have control. We must submit daily and momentarily. It is only when Christ is living through us that we are holy and blameless before Him. When God looks at us, He sees His own Son clothed upon us, smothering us with His righteousness and grace. He chose us because He loves us and wants to spend eternity with us. We were born, then reborn for holiness through Christ, His Son.
